Great service and genuine hospitality from Terence and his team. We stayed 2 nights and found the place to be very clean with a pool that would grace any backyard in Australia. Great camp kitchen... Sharpie will look after you including if you have any shortfalls! Wonderful campfire....wood is free, you don't have to buy it or bring your own....

Terrence is the local T/O and a must see if you like traditional experiences while in the Flinders Ranges. He will tell you all about this area and how much he loves and appreciates it. We dropped in unannounced and all we heard was come in, pull up a stump and have a cuppa. Well done.

Stayed here with my wife and 10 y.o. girl for a couple of days whilst caravanning on our way to Arkaroola. What makes this place is the most wonderfully warm and friendly people you could hope to meet, not to mention the spectacular natural surrounds, birdlife and wildlife. We were invited several times to share a cup of tea on...

I visited Iga Warta with a group in June 2016 and was overwhelmed by the experience. Th hosts are welcoming and warm. They teach you about their culture, history and the stunning area that they live in a gentle and open way. Great for families, friends or educational groups. I felt privileged to be made welcome on their country.

After spending good money on an over rated station stay at Wirrealpa I arrived at Iga Warta and was greeted with such genuine friendliness and hospitality and I was only camping for one night! My second brief visit here and the same experience each time. I really appreciated the friendliness and the generosity extended too me.

Incredible long weekend at Iga Warta with the warm and hospitable Coulthard family. So much knowledge and culture shared through the many different tours on offer, and all delivered with a humbling openness, wit and grace. The food is excellent and was particularly appreciated as we visited when it was pretty cold. We also enjoyed some short walks (untracked routes)...

If you are looking for an opportunity to experience Aboriginal culture and country in a real way, you can't beat Iga Warta. The tours and immersion opportunities offered by the family here are not at all touristy and are generously shared from the heart. We experienced a tour of the ochre pits, cave paintings, and social history tour, all of...

Travelled to Iga Warta in June 2016 and had the best stay. I was expecting basic facilities but was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches such as complementary shampoo and conditioner, and the presence of an electric blanket! The showers were beautifully hot at the end of a winter's day, the food was fresh, and there was always a cup...

This was my third time to return to Iga Warta in the last ten years. The camp site is quietly nestled in the stunning Northern Flinders Ranges. The Coulthard family is welcoming, kind and generous. They so willingly share their rich cultural knowledge. The camp site has fantastic facilities; the food is expertly prepared; the cultural tours are second to...
