Hotel lies in a small village near Boulogne sur mer. It is easy to find even without gps. On main roads you find already indicators. The chateau hotel lies in a huge park. There are several parking areas on the territory: one in front of the main building ,and two other ones right near the cottage buildings. Reception is in...

Great chateau. EE stayed in an annexe which was okay but might have caused a problem in inclement weather as it was about 250 yards from the hotel. However the restaurant was amazing. A choice of 2 menues which you could mix and match. I choose the 35 Euros menue because of the dishes and Trish went for the 45...

Second time stayed here and first time was excellent. Food and service in restaurant was fantastic. Second time room great in cottage although as in all France stairs are always a challenge. Service in the restaurant was appalling, a large party had taken over the whole restaurant. The table given was at the door and waiter took 20 minutes to...

We loved staying at this hotel. The room was comfortable, the food was excellent and the welcome warm. It has not been over "tarted" up and has a slightly shabby charm. Our room in the main building overlooked the garden at the back and was lovely with a very good bathroom with excellent shower. Just sorry we were only there...

We have stayed here once before as it is a convenient 5 minutes off the A16. Our room was in the main building overlooking the garden, clean and comfortable. The food was as good as we remembered though fairly expensive. The staff were efficient and polite but not particularly warm or welcoming.

A bad start. On arrival they were challenging, had no note of our booking and were dismissive and unapologetic. A member of staff had put first name as surname - but clearly it was all our fault. No apology. We had booked one of the cottages on a TA recommendation but were taken to the Fermiere a little further away...

The good - hard working staff [Clement is a s star] and excellent location. Very good cooking at dinner. Generously sized and furnished rooms. Fair prices. The bad - inadequate plumbing in bathrooms [water pressure ridiculously low, bath too small for adults, nowhere to hang shower head on wall for proper shower] and staff stretched too thinly [bar staff treble...

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The reception staff were excellent. Our room in the main building was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. We dined in on both nights and found the food to be superb with good choices on both nights. The restaurant is in the conservatory which has a nice ambience. Breakfast was very...

We wanted a hotel close to the Eurotunnel after the long drive from the Dordogne. It's 30mins away from Eurotunnel and our expectations were pretty low but this place over delivered. The grounds are stunning and we spent a few hours relaxing with a bottle of wine on one of the sun loungers. Rooms are nicely decorated but a little...

With stayed at th Chateau with a couple of friends. Situated in lovely grounds but we asked to change rooms as one had stained linen, the other was small, smelly humidity and the wall paper in very poor condition. We were charged 20 euros extra to move the stables where the rooms were certainly much better. We choose not to...
