As a picky travel agent I can honestly recommend this property and was very pleased with this resort. The Hotel and Grounds are immaculate and the food is (surprisingly) great ! There is something for everybody at the buffet and the a la cartes are delicious. The layout is perfect, not too big, not too small. The rooms are very...

Went for the 4th time in the last year and it is better each time. It is obvious that the Clientele Service , headed by Yudelkys Consuegra , is listening to and taking care of comments brought to them by the hotel's guests. The beach and pier are both incredible. The new larger beach permits for volleyball and soccer games....

I took my mom to this resort and have never been there, and it was a great experience. Everyone was super helpful, nobody had a bad mentality, and the food was always good. Clean rooms, and the pool and location it's self was clean too.

we transferred here from the Melia Jardines Del Rey which was an awful place. This hotel is much nicer authentic Cuban, relaxing and with lovely food which is always warm and plentiful. The rooms are a little dated but have character but are spotlessly clean and everything is in working order. The best thing about this place is the beautiful...

We only visited this hotel because we were staying in another Melia hotel in Cayo coco and were able to get wrist bands for a day for other hotels in the chain , so this review is only based on one days visit so can't comment on the rooms. From the minute we arrived we received a warm welcome from...

The staff are wonderful, very helpful if you've got a problem they're there to sort it in no time. Plenty of choice of food but the problem is it's cold, looks lovely but not kept warm, you can stand & wait for meat fish pasta to be cooked fresh for you which is what we did.there are two other restaurantsyou...

I would like to start by echoing Cliff H's review, my sentiments entirely. Just back from a 2 week stay, once again the Melia provided all I wanted from a great laid back holiday. The hotel never seems crowded as once again some of it was closed, this was part of the character and charm of the Melia. Yes there...

It was my first time in the Carribeans and I had very low expectations especially on food. Actually the buffet was awesome and we were greeted by the very warm staff which added to the experience. Thanks to Edel who kept our spot at every meal, Yunia almost predicting our drinks walking by to the beach and Frank's skills &...

Meliá Cayo Guillermo is located one of the most beautiful and white-sandy beaches with more than 1300 palm trees, and swept by very transparent waters. The area was an inspiration for Ernest Hemingway, and fishing the great blue river, always on his Pilar Yacht, he created part of his work. The hotel is perfect for couples and families but also for diving, fishing. We also organize the wedding of your dreams in this paradise. ... more   less
