Lovely hotel, nothing but positive things to say about it. The staff were friendly, the hotel including our room was spotless, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great location. Would definitely return.
Fabulous little hotel in the bay in st Lawrence gap. Lovely rooms and friendly staff made this a birthday I won’t forget. We had a ground floor room with a lockable patio door which was ideal to getting to the pool and out onto the bay for a bit of snorkelling. Def will be back!
I had a lovely 4 day stay at the Yellow Bird. I found the staff very friendly and helpful especially Ebonie and Audley. The team always asked if I was enjoying my stay and made me feel like they cared about me having a good experience. The food in the café was cooked to order each time and the complementary breakfast offered great choices like fruit, omelets and even pancakes. The rooms were clean, the AC was ice cold and the kitchenette was well stocked.
The hospitality shown by the hotel staff in general was exemplary. The room was clean and very comfortable and the food and other amenities were excellent. My kids and I had a glorious time and are looking forward to the next staycation.
Yellow Bird was a nice and very small hotel; It actually looks and felt more like a motel (by our standards). It has a small but clean pool area. The hotel is by no means a luxury hotel, but we were relatively comfortable. We were in Barbados during our Anniversary and we found a nice bottle of wine in our room. Thank you Yellow Bird! The Hotel is right on the corner entrance to St. Lawrence Gap and right next to a Mexican restaurant; lots of foot traffic, music and people at night, we enjoyed the music. The Good: - Hotel was very clean. The staff were constantly tidying every section. - Hotel size was a plus and minus for us; plus in that we felt safe in terms of COVID-19; hand sanitizer on-site and required as were temperatures taken for everyone coming into the hotel and restaurant; and with only roughly 12 rooms, we felt safe! - Rooms have kitchenette which came in handy. - Staff we’re all so pleasant and helpful. - Restaurant on-site Not So Good - This Hotel is not waterfront; it is water view from across the street but the beach is a bit of a walk. - Room decor can use some help; dark and dated. - Sofa had huge water stains; lamp shade stained and ripped. - NO elevator so expect a walk. We had rooms on the 4th floor; about 8 flights of steps each trip in or out of the room. - We travelled with another couple and the air in their room went out 2 days in a row. - Bath towels and clothes appeared scarce, one each per person; when I requested a second face cloth, I was told that front desk needed to approve more than one each. Overall we enjoyed our trip.…
Friendly very helpful staff. Excellent location for getting about the island. The bed was massive and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on. Michelle could not do enough for us both, recommending trip, giving us info on where to go and just an all round lovely person Ate in the hotel once and the food was excellent. Will also recommend if you stay here to dine at the Harlequin in St Lawrence Gap. Perfect hotel for the most perfect holiday in Barbados
Stayed for 10 days....warm,friendly staff who catered to all my requests Special thanks to Cheryl Ann and her amazing team. My 1st visit to Barbados 🇧🇧 will be back and will certainly pop by to say Hi 🥰
The “loaded fries” wasn’t what I expected. It was just bacon and cheese and I expected more cause it suppose to be LOADED NOT BACON AND CHEESE FRIES. Everything else was nice. Would give the service of the room Service 9.5/10
We had a wonderful time when we stayed at this hotel, VERY friendly, happy, helpful staff.... all going out of there way to help whenever we needed it. The room was clean and a good size, The sea view was amazing. Also some lovely beaches and little shops to explore nearby aswell. Thank you again everyone at the Yellow Bird Hotel xx
Stayed at this hotel for a night before my flight to Jamaica. The hotel is small but clean. On arrival I was given a warm welcome and an early check in. My room was on the first floor, it was very spacious and clean, there was a small kitchen and dining area. The bathroom was also clean with a rain forest shower. I had sea views from my spacious balcony, which overlooked the pool area, which for me was small. I did not use any of the facilities whilst I was there. The hotel suited my needs and I would stay here again.
