Great family owned and run hotel in a beautiful village close to Prosecco hills. The trip was made by the hosts, for whom nothing was too difficult. It was like staying with old friends, in the best possible way. Delicious fresh breakfast, and dinner at the attached restaurant was awesome too. Heartily recommended!
We only stayed one night during Prosecco region culinary trip. It is just what you woukd expect in charming and sleepy small antient Italian town. Owners are hospitable, comfort is good in all respects and breakfast is rational but of quality ingredients.
We stayed here for 2 nights for our friends wedding. The location is perfect for the small town and the rooms were absolutely stunning. The room was very large with comfortable seat to relax in, the bathroom again was large with good shower. Breakfast was lovely with fresh breads, croissants, Italian cake, cereal and juices. The receptionist (young lad but didn't get his name) was very friendly and welcoming as too was the slightly older gentlemen who looked after us at breakfast. Lovely hotel and customer service.
I spent a night at the Villa Marcello Marinelli as I went travelling to a wedding. This is a great place to stay, a lovely family run hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and especially Nicolai. He drove us to our next hotel and made several trips. The proseco is great from the Villa as well. We had a junior suite which was very comfortable and the hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend.
A very good experience. The family driven hotel provided excellent service. Large room with aircon. Very good breakfast. Middle of the city center with large parking space inside the premiss. Highly reccomend this hotel. Landlord is very helpfull with tips on places to visit and where to eat. We even got really good tips on must-visit wineries.
The location is perfect for those on a cycling vacation, as I was - or those who wish to visit the beautiful countryside and a quaint town. The rooms are large, air-conditioned, and very newly appointed - mine also featured a sky-light. The manager is also the chef, and his meals were fantastic and wonderfully prepared. There are many cycling routes that can be accessed from this location.
We came to Villa Marcello after a 70K bikeride in fantastic landscape. We were part of an Scandinavian group of 17 persons and everyone got a 'WOW-sensation' upon arrival. The rooms are clean and big with quality beds. The food and service is fantastic. The history and scenery of Villa Marcello is fascinating. This was the perfect place to restitute and rebuild for the following day of more cycling. Try it! I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
We stayed one night last weekend and we enjoyed a lot our stay. The relais is really nice, and beautifully located in the center of Cison, an historic little town close to the wineries of the Prosecco region, among other places. Our room was pretty big and faced a romantic square. The owners though are the plus, really making sure you are having a good time at the relais. We strongly recommend this place, almost because of the excellent quality compared to its rate.
If you want to experience an amazing stay in the Prosecco wine country, you absolutely must stay at Villa Marcello Marinelli. Not only is this Venetian villa close to various wineries you also have at your disposition a beautiful medieval castle, a quaint town center and breathtaking hiking trails less then a five minute walk away. The villa itself was built in the 1500's and decorated in Venetian style. The dining hall is home to 17th century frescos and the rooms are romantic and spotless. The family-run hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and they gave us invaluable tips on places to go and things to see around the area. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend or an overnight getaway for those visiting Venice. For those interested, I wrote more about this hotel and things to do in the area on my blog www.italicanakitchen.com…
This family run hotel was excellent, nothing was to much trouble for the owners. The rooms where large and comfortable. We only used the restaurant for breakfast as there are a few really nice restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. If your in to Prosecco this is a great place to start from.I would recommend this hotel all day long.
