We've visited quite a few all-inclusive type resort hotels in recent years and, overall, the Sugar Bay is the best of them. Staff: Excellent. 10/10. The most accommodating, friendly and happy hotel staff that we’ve ever encountered. Lovely people and their helpfulness is not at all ‘forced’; they genuinely can’t do enough for you and they’re extremely efficient. Food and...

We came for the Barbados Marathon and are enjoying every minute of our stay. The staff and management are incredibly friendly and beyond accommodating. The resort is clean, modern and safe. The food is amazing and local food is available. The Sizzle team honoured our runner with a congratulatory card, our toddler is being indulged even more than at home....

I spent two glorious weeks here with 5 other family members ranging in age from late 70s to early 20s and everyone loved the place. Situated right on a beautiful beach (with plenty of sun loungers! Never had THAT problem!) We used the snorkels, masks, paddle boards, flippers etc from the water sports hut and enjoyed swimming with all the...

It's currently our third day at the Sugar Bay Hotel and we've yet to find any faults. The hotel is AMAZING - we're already thinking about when we can come back! The food is really good and a great choice, Sizzler's Steak restaurant is well worth a visit, tasty steaks with alternatives such as chicken, fish and ribs if you...

Arrived at the hotel, quick check in, even a rum punch and cold face towel were offered I had a signature room...light, airy, well decorated, well equipped. Over looked the gardens and reception Beach, as you would expect is superb, loads of sun bating and water sport equipment Food and the bars were great but the hard working friendly staff...

This review is actually based on my parents' stay at the Sugar Bay Resort, in Christ Church, Barbados. This is a 'newly' renovated hotel, previously under the name Amaryllis hotel. The new owners have done a complete overhaul of the resort. The grounds are clean and spacious. The staff is young, energetic and very helpful. They were extremely courteous and...

We stayed in room 334 which was a deluxe ocean view room and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious with plenty of storage for clothes. A shelf in the shower for toiletries would have been useful though. Food was good with plenty of choice and my only gripe was with the Reef restaurant. We booked a table for...

Barbados has long been famous for the warmth and hospitality of its people. The staff and management of Sugar Bay personify this completely. From the moment we arrived 'til our departure a week later we were royally treated and pampered. Sugar Bay is only about a year old, and everything about it is bright, new, shiny clean and in excellent...

We have just returned from Sugar Bay after a one week all inclusive holiday. A huge thank you to all the staff who really do go the extra mile to ensure you have a great time. Very friendly and helpful all the time.. The food was simply fantastic. Some of the best we have had on holiday. The buffet works...

There are so many good things about Sugar Bay that highlighting the negatives almost feels a bit petty. From check in to checking out, the Staff in all areas of the resort were universally friendly, cheery and polite. Even the Reef bar staff in the evenings maintained this attitude despite the bar being incredibly crowded and it's here there is...
