We have just returned from Sugar Bay after a one week all inclusive holiday. A huge thank you to all the staff who really do go the extra mile to ensure you have a great time. Very friendly and helpful all the time.. The food was simply fantastic. Some of the best we have had on holiday. The buffet works... More

There are so many good things about Sugar Bay that highlighting the negatives almost feels a bit petty. From check in to checking out, the Staff in all areas of the resort were universally friendly, cheery and polite. Even the Reef bar staff in the evenings maintained this attitude despite the bar being incredibly crowded and it's here there is... More

This was our first time in Barbados and after queues and struggles at the airport- the staff at Sugar Bay really made us feel so welcome and at home. The whole complex from rooms to restaurants to the pool and beach areas were immaculately clean and well presented. The spa was perfect, the food delicious, the beds comfortable and the... More

Our 5th trip to Barbados but the first to Sugar Bay. Check in was quick and efficient and the reception staff then and throughout the holiday were helpful and friendly. In fact, one of the main plus points of the hotel are the staff who were always ready to help and always with a friendly greeting. Our room had, as... More

Spent 10 days here books through British Airways holidays; good value for money. The praise for the hard working and cheerful staff and the standard of accommodation in this complex that was refurbished one year ago are all well deserved. The food in the buffet restaurant (Reef) and at Colin's Bar and Grill on the beach was plentiful and of... More

This Hotel is worthy of all the previous excellent reviews, however there are some aspects which could be improved and which would have resulted in a 5* review rating. Main disappointment was that the main restaurant can become overwhelmed at both breakfast and evening meal times. This mean queues or waiting at bar for staff to take you to seating.... More

We had a week at Sugar Bay in November. First of all many thanks to others who had taken the time to review the hotel. The reviews here give a really good impression of the hotel. I won't repeat all the good points but it is worth highlighting the lovely beach with good snorkelling (but you do need beach shoes)... More

We have just arrived back today from a weeks holiday at this wonderful hotel all booked with Thomas Cook. We deliberately selected a smaller complex and we were not disappointed. The hotel was small enough to provide an excellent service but large enough to have a good atmosphere. We were mainly impressed with the staff, they worked so hard, running... More

Hotel right on the beech, nice sandy bay, few rocks in the sea but not a problem. Great staff all round, good food in all 3 restaurants, nice drinks at the bar. We had a Smart room overlooking the beech. Hotel not too large and very clean. 10 mins on a bus to Bridgetown and only 1 US Dollar each,... More
