Thank you Vee for your great review. Incredible for me to see how children especially get to experience the closeness of farm animals, walking amongst trees, just the whole rural environment. Hope you can come back soon again.

We got to stay 3 nights in the Te Aroha Holiday Park while we were exploring the nearby mount, the Karangaheke Gorges and Paeroa. The Park is stunning in autumn and the playground is nothing short of epic with tree climbing and even a huge flying fox! Anna was very kind to us and we can't wait to stay there...

We did not actually get to stay at Te Aroha Holiday Park. We had a confirmed and paid booking but the office person cancelled us - no explanation given. She was very rude. Don't bother trying to book this place.

So sorry Kerryash to read about your experience here. I was assured by my receptionist in charge of bookings at the time of your visit that a full refund was issued and also alternative accommodation booked and paid for you in Te Aroha.

A great place to stay. Its very inexpensive, clean and friendly. It has a large green yard, so perfect for kids and pets. The hostess is very nice & friendly. She was very prompt in responding to our needs.

Thank you Maryam, for your great review. The apartment you stayed in is one of four recent refurbishments in our Park. We are situated in the country side and are very fortunate to share this rural environment with our guests.

Fairly basic campground with only grassed powered sites. But everything we needed. We were in a motor home. Nice open grass area for kids to play on. We stayed here over Easter and the owners put on an Easter hunt for the kids which was a nice surprise extra touch. Only major down side was that the hot pool was...

The reception area was not very welcoming.they just give you a map n show you that's where your staying. Booked a 60s caravan for a couple. Get there to find out there was no double beded caravans available. Payed extra to upgrade to a cabin.customer service sucks,They don't tell you much about the park. Staff dont wear uniforms no name...

I am sorry about your disappointing experience here. Our popular budget caravans have 2 single beds in each. On arrival you requested a double bed and the only alternative was to upgrade you into our Cabin Fish with a queen sized bed, which incurred an extra charge. I was at reception when you checked in and remember walking you around...

We loved this place, it was quiet and was really good for us because we could take our 2 fur babies. It was nice and clean and spacious. The only thing we thought was for the big cottages to have gates so the dogs could stay on the veranda, and also a fenced gated patch of grass for them to...

It was so funny reading the extreme views of past guests. Either loved it or hated it. If you want to know what New Zealand was like in the70's come to this motor camp. No it's not a top ten holiday Park and that's good in my view. Yes it's tired and run down, is it a desired holiday destination?...

Thank you Petek D for your review. Glad you liked it here and found the facilities clean. I I am sorry you were less satisfied about access policies to TV and games rooms. These can be accessed at any time by guests, we hold keys at reception that can be picked up for a small fully refundable deposit. The Bechstein...

We stayed at Te Aroha, camping for 4 nights and enjoyed them all. The grounds and setting was beautiful, private, tranquil and the staff friendly. I would definately recommend staying here and we look forward to our next visit. Not to mention all the local bush walks, fantastic place. Awesome place for children as the playground was amazing.
