This is a great place to stay. We were cycling down the Nrth Island and this is like an oasis. Spa next door is understated but brilliant. Hots were great and shower, kitchen efc perfect. Yes stay here it is Epic.

We love staying here! Greg & Linda's laid back hosting style suits us perfectly. Funky, quirky ambience, always clean & tidy. It feels very homely. Greg is always so accommodating & helpful with were to put our bikes & anything else we might need. A little gem is this quaint little forgotten town.

I have just stayed 2 nights and automatically thought the rate included breakfast! Silly me! Nothing welcoming, no flowers, chocolates nothing! Very average room with light coming through the top of the curtains all night! Bed had a cheap electric blanket under bottom sheet and I could feel the control panel under me! Bed was average. Noisy when you have...

Could not have been further from the truth, a nice quite solitude location. Our host Greg was fantastic, although no office on site he is only a...

We stayed one night at the Hot Spring Wing. Very comfortable bed, spacious room with ensuite. When we entered the room at nearly 6pm, the room was very warm as Greg the host has turned on the heater for us. He recommended where to have dinner and booked us for the hot tub. The lodge locates just next to the...

Our travel agent couldn't find accommodation in the beautiful country town of Te Aroha so we found this on line. Great hosts, great location and one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Lodge and cottage both great. Make sure you climb Mount Te Aroha but book your mineral spa for when you get back down.

(Please note that this review is regarding my stay in Feb 2014.) I encountered this beautiful gem by accident. I had no reservations when I left Hobbit Town after the tour and all the hostels in town were reserved, so I had to desperately find another place to stay. Fortunately, someone suggested this place when I was in town and...
