Alberto makes this place excellent. Perfect English and willing to help with everything. There is room for parking a small car (you don't want to be driving a large car in Sicily!) and also a public car park 100 metres away. The large house has a beautiful garden and patios. The Blue room is large enough for a family but...

Alberto and his family simply can not give you a bigger Sicilian welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything comes with a smile as warm as the sun. Chatting on the terrace over breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Tapping into Alberto's vast local knowledge is a must. He'll arrange guided trekking on amazing Etna, to wonderful wine...

We booked Villa Rosa at the last minute as we were staying at an apartment near Paloma and I have to say it really lived up to the excellent reviews. Alberto was such a lovely host, helping us sort out a hike up the mountain at very late notice. The room on the top floor was massive and the beds...

This B&B provides top service and beautiful rooms/suites. We stayed three nights in the Villa Rosa in Zafferana Etnea town, and were warmly welcomed by the host, Alberto, who goes out of his way to provide all you need and is a source of good, practical, on-the-spot information for any questions you may have. This business has a centre town b&b and a b&b guesthouse 1 mile out of town set in an old vineyard. You have to check in in town and then go out to the vineyard with a family member. Alberto runs the show with the help of his ageing father and he is a wonderful host who has perfect English...
