Soft sand, great view, rough waves. My husband and I visited Sunday on our honeymoon. Was later in the day, still quite crowded. Only beach with changing facilities & outdoor shower. Water was clear yet rough. First waved knocked me down and bounced and dragged me up the beach needless to say I was done. Ended with coconut 🥥 sorbet by a vendor (fantastic).

We are a family (with two kids 3 and 7 years) and we spent some days in this little paradise. On this island only a few persons speak English, but in this resort some of the stuff speak it. The gites (bungalow) are very nice and charming. The kitchen is outside on an open terrace with view on the beautiful garden. In the middle of the garden is a pool, which is big enough to swim a little and to play with the kids (there are seats in shadow). Everything is very green with nice flowers and all in all a quiet garden. The beach in front of it is just perfect. Close to the hotel there is a little shop and on the other end of the bay/beach you will find some restaurants. The village (with shops and restaurants) is a short car ride away. There is Wi-Fi. We will stay here again when we visit Guadeloupe next time. Only the communal kitchen next to the pool must to be cleaned.

We were very happy with the accommodation. The kitchen on the verandah was well equipped and provided stove top jets and microwave for cooking. The refrigerator was a full size which was great. The bedroom is very large with another bunk room attached and the bathroom was also a very good size. On site there is a large pool with plenty of sun lounges for guests. It is located on a beach which is a small stroll through the lovely gardens to get to. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. It's location is in a quiet area so there isn't a huge choice of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, however there are a few choices on the beach, about a 7 minute walk to get to. Be warned, if you go there in the low season most restaurants will be close. It's perfect for families or couples because everyone's got their space. Recommend you hire a car as the town of Deshais is only a 5 minute drive.

Bungalows are placed in a beautiful tropical garden and they are equipped with all necessary items you need for self-catering. Spacious rooms with flat screen TV, huge King size bed and our bungalow had an extra room with a bunk beed, perfect for families. The veranda has the kitchen with a table and chairs, big fridge, freezer, and stove. The bungalows are nicely located, not to close to each other so you will enjoy your privacy. There is a also a good sized pool but I never used it because the beach is directly behind the garden and it is gorgeaus! Staff is very friendly and they provide new towels whenever you need it. I can definitely recommend this place; that is the place to be if you are looking for a relaxing holiday stay in a fantastic surrounding. Loved it!

Easy to find even when arriving after dark. Lovely bungalow with view towards the beach (Grande Anse at your door step). Perfect for a quick swim in the morning. The bungalow is well appointed, a good size bed room room plus a smaller one with a bunk bed. A/C efficient and quiet. Fresh towels are available in the reception (where you will also find more toilet paper). The kitchenette is on the terrace. There are 2x gas hubs, fridge (essential for ice cubes...think cocktail), coffee machine, toaster, and microwave enough for a quick meal in the evening. For sitting outside in the evening we got some citronella candles, and mosquito coils to keep the area critters free (available at the petrol station 100 m down the road). In addition we got some insect repellent from the local pharmacy, as 'Jungle Fever' was not very effective against the blood-thirsty local fauna. Sunsets at the beach were just picture perfect. It was low season so the beach was pretty empty most of the time. The bungalows are set in a beautiful mature garden with a good size swimming pool right in the middle. There are plenty of BBQ stands but we didn't try them out. It's about 5 min by car to Deshaies (Spar, bakery, etc) and 5 min walking to the petrol station (open from 6.30 to 19.30) for baguette and croissants (the biggest ones we have encountered so far). At Grande Anse there are a few bars and restaurants (Koté Lagon, nice tables facing the lagoon) mainly open for lunchtime (some are open for dinner, ask at the reception as it seems to be better to book a table for the evening). And if you fancy a pizza, we liked Pizza Gwada Yolo just opposite of the stadium in Dehaises. I would also recommend the walk to Anse de la Perle for some light exercise. We really hope to be able to spend another week at Fleurs des Iles in the near future.
