Back to nature with our bungalow in a lovely tropical garden setting with a jungle night track to ease and relax the evening away. The gardens are lush, staff very friendly and make a mean Ti - punch in the evenings. Breakfast was just fine with fresh bread and pastries, location convenient, walking distance to Grande Anse beach (maybe the best on the island) and easy driving to all points on the island, including 5 minutes drive to Deshais. Rooms are comfortable, airy and very spacious, just right for the climate. Much recommended for a chilled holiday away from the hassle and bustle of everyday life. And bonus, it’s eco-friendly. Still a year on, and very fond memories.

Caraib'bay is a comfortable, welcoming accommodation steps from Grande Anse, one of the most breathtaking beaches in the Caribbean. It perfectly matches the atmosphere of Basse-Terre: lush, green, not too fancy but exceedingly warm and comfortable. Catherine and Christophe are constantly working to ensure guests have everything they need. When we had an early-morning excursion, Catherine made sure to have a breakfast prepared the night before. It is a welcome reprieve from the industrial tourism you'll experience through much of the Caribbean. Can't recommend a stay here enough!

We are two Norwegian women who had the pleasure of enjoying two weeks in this tropical paradise. We stayed in the charming wooden bungalow Ti Kaz Bwa,an eco lodge with natural air ventilation which kept the the logde cool night and day. A spacious terrace surrounded by the most beautiful tropical plants gave us privacy. The breakfast was a sheer delight,enjoyed in a family atmosphere ,on a terrace overlooking the garden and the swimmingpool.It was delicious -with tropical fruits, homemade juice and jam , wholesome , homemade müsli ,natural yogurt and cakes.Fresh drinking water was at our disposal all the day. The whole hotel team were overwhelmingly pleasant and helpful taking the time to give us good advice concerning our stay.Moreover,the cleanliness was impeccable. An extra plus is that everything is environmentally friendly from details such as the soaps to the natural air condition and the salt in the inviting swimming pool where we took a refreshing bath every morning and some evenings under the stars. The daily visits of the cat Welcome ,her feline friends and the families of wild hens added to increase to the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere . Worth mentioning is also the short walk to the most beautiful sandy beach, Grande Anse and a short distance to the charming village Deshaies ,known from the TV series "Death in Paradise" . We now have wonderful memories from Caraib`Bay Hotel to warm us in winter cold Norway. Toril and Tone.

This was our first trip to Guadeloupe, but definitely not our last. We booked the Kariacou Villa and it was great for my husband, 21 year old son, and me. It's a bit of a walk to get to it up via the paved sidewalk, but worth it and nice having the privacy. There is also a small sliver of view of the ocean from the porch. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning cools well, and the outdoor shower works well though the handheld is placed a bit short for my husband. The breakfast is delicious. While we were there it included fresh pineapple, watermelon, and canteloupe, bread and baked goods (and rice cakes for the Celiacs), cereals, yogurt, fresh juices, and hot drinks. Eggs can be ordered for just 2 Euros extra. Staff are friendly. The English speaking staff (I believe her name is Asia?) was very helpful in booking us reservations for activities and restaurants. We would love to return here again.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 6, 9 and 10). We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our week in Guadeloupe. The accommodations were the perfect size and had everything we needed, including an outdoor dining space, separate sleeping area for the kids and a small kitchenette. The breakfast every morning was just what we needed for our days of exploring the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the salt water pool every afternoon along with a cocktail. The staff was extremely helpful and booked us excursions and made great restaurant reservations. The hotel grounds were truly as beautiful as the botanical gardens. Zero complaints. We feel lucky to have found this gem.

We could not have been happier with our stay. Catherine and Christophe were genial and helpful hosts, doing everything for us from making dinner reservations to coordinating our bicycle rentals. Not to mention those delicious cocktails! The place is beautifully maintained: quiet, private and lush, except for the singing of tree frogs and the crowing of roosters! It's also a 5 minute walk to Grande Anse, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Fabulous restaurants are just a 10-minute drive away. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Fun, colorful cabins with outdoor seating make this a great place to stay. Families can vacation together without being right on top of one another. The grounds were spectacularly landscaped and wild chickens roam the property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; breakfast was great with homemade jams we couldn’t even name! You can walk down to the beach in the Deshaies area, but to get into Deshaies you’ll need a car. Very nice property - the only drawback is if you’re sleeping with the windows open, be prepared to hear roosters in the morning!

On the slope, about 500m from the beach in a tropical garden with only 12 units, about 45 minutes from the airport and 2 km from the town of Deshaies. Two-storey bungalow with about 60 m² of space. On the ground floor there are 3 single beds, the bathroom and a kitchen corner with stove, sink, microwave, fridge and kettle. On the upper floor there is a double bed and a couch. Mosquito nets are available, as well as air conditioning and 2 ceiling fans. The terrace has a table, 5 chairs and two deck chairs with a view of the garden, no sea view. The beach is long, with fine sand and you can always find a quiet spot. There are no loungers or parasols but there is enough natural shade, and in the evening there are wonderful sunsets. The PERLE beach, 2 km away, is also recommended. As the beach restaurants are only open at lunchtime, a rental car is recommended, as in the evening there is only something to eat in the town. The bar and reception are only open until 7.30 p.m., but with so few guests this is understandable - you can always put a drink in the fridge.

A true corner of paradise with attentive staff We stayed in the Ti caz bwa, a real cozy little nest in the heart of a tropical garden The breakfast is delicious There is also a very nice swimming pool. The beautiful Grande Anse beach and its restaurants are 5 minutes away on foot and for the evening, restaurants are 5 minutes away by car in the village of Deshaies For lovers of nature and calm. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for their professionalism and kindness.

This is a splendid hotel in a great position just close to Grande Anse (Deshaies) in Guadeloupe. Surrounded by a tropical garden full of flowers and beautiful plants, it offers small lodges granting full privacy and completed of all necessary commodities..For sure in this angle of paradise tv is not allowed :-) Breakfast is genuine and tasty. The renovated pool is nice for adults and children. Staff is friendly and kind, ready to support guests for their necessities. This is the fourth time I choose the Caraib'bay Hotel for my stay at Guadeloupe. Thank you Christophe and Catherine for this great holiday!
