We have our own B&B and work out through the year so we decided to go for a B&B instead of a hotel. What a good choice. Valerie and her husband are really hard workers. We felt very welcome in this little Paradise. The breakfast was delicious. Valerie surprised us every morning with some nice food. We stayed in the suite and we loved it. Other guesthouses have plastic furniture but Ali Nais has thought about everything and has nice comfortable furniture. Further le chat 'Princess' and le chien 'Chanel' made us like feeling at home. We want to return next year because we also fall in love with Guadeloupe!

My wife and I were in Guadeloupe for one week, and stayed for a night here on a whim. I regret that our stay was so short, but am so glad that we spent at least one night at Ali Nais. The rooms were beautiful, overlooking the jungle and the ocean beyond. Valérie, the owner, was so lovely, and managed to accommodate our halting, high school class French. The home cooked breakfast in the morning also sent us on our way full and happy. You should absolutely stay here.

Al-Nais is very well located: close to beautiful beaches (e.g. Plage de La Perle 3-4km) spa or Jardin Botanique in Deshaies (7km) and a 'U' supermarket (4km). There is also a beach you can walk to at Fort Royal (500m; 10EUR/deck chair) The only thing I struggled with at the very beginning was the traffic noise from the N2 road below (100m).. But you can get used to it and ignore it after a while. Most of the places/houses are close to one road or another... The Ma Cabane apartment is just great because of its views of the Caribbean Sea, its intimacy because of its private terrace where you can relax, have lunch, lie on a deck-chair and admire the view while surrounded by the trees and plants... Humming birds during the day and singing frogs at night. The bath in the outside bathroom in the evening is also a bonus- the wall is just the plants and trees ( the other wall can be the curtain :) ...just make sure you have lots!!! of anti-mosquito candles. But you can get used to mosquitoes as well ( no other option). There is also a swimming pool above Ma Cabane with a big terrace as well, so you can also spend a nice time there. Breakfast is included, so you get different breakfast every day and the host makes sure you like it :) But there is a coffee machine (coffee pads) in Ma Cabane, a microwave and a grill facility. There is no electric cooker, though. There is a fridge. Make sure you hide your food otherwise an army of ants will carry it out on their backs :) .. It's an open space apartment after all. I really liked that idea of a small house on the tree.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in the Cabane. We had an amazing stay and loved the spacious outdoor room with comfortable bed, a luscious patio, splendid views of the ocean, a handy bbq and the outdoor bath/shower. We really enjoyed getting to know the owners as well. Valérie and Laurent are welcoming and friendly. The home cooked breakfasts were outstanding and filled with great suggestions for day trips and beaches. The owners really enjoy welcoming guests into their home and the lovely accommodations speak for themselves. They get a well deserved 5 stars from a very picky New York couple. This was by far the best value for our money during our entire stay in Guadeloupe. We hope to return one day!
