Before arriving asked Konstantinos to help sort out transfer from airport to his hotel. He did this for me, negotiated a very competitive price and I arrived tired, but safe and sound. My studio was top floor, I was disappointed to see the nice bar breakfast area closed off, which was one of the reasons I chose it so. I could have a night cap. However this was because of Covid and could not be helped. Lots of hand cleansers about and signs explains masks were mandatory in the building. My room was big and spacious with lots of wardrobe space, drawers etc. The cooking facilities simple but adequate and I had a temperamental kettle ,which, when I mentioned it was changed straight away. The look of the apartment is very old fashioned but quaint Greek. So don’t expect ikea contemporary here. It has a glass sliding balcony door,a insect net door and shutters .Which,on hot nights I just had the Mozi net one closed. It has loads of extras for FREE ,the air con,the safe ,wi fi and ironing equipment. Air conditioning is very expensive to run here and I have always been charged for its use soFREE is a big bonus and often wi fi is not in your room but the bar so grateful for that too. The bed is really comfy and the place was very clean. Although I think the cleaning woman has rather a lot to do. I did ask her if she would clean my room for me as I had a friend coming and she made it look nice , considering how untidy I am. Getting to bakery is 2 min walk, getting into stoupa beach front is shortish walk directly opposite is a path, left onto car park and own steps, follow little path and you come out by Mangos ,conveniently placed for first nice coffee of the day. I have very painful knees and did find some of the walk strenuous however I did get used to it. If coming in sept Oct bring a torch as not all routes home have Street lighting. All in all fab stay, nothing bad at all except would have loved a swimming pool! But I did have loads of swims in the sea.…
Location, beds, room etc was really good. But mainly everyone who worked at Kleopatras was so kind. Konstantinos helped us when our flight got cancelled and delayed. They had also done some really good adjustments due to Covid-19, We’ll done and We felt safe all the way. We are Very happy with our visit, can’t wait to Come back!
We had a week here and there were lots of positives . Water in room great shower comfy beds ! Free air con and safety deposit box and washing up liquid etc and pegs on the clothes drier !! Towels and beds changed 3 time in a week bins most days too !! But we were on the ground floor with not much of a view on the balcony so did not use it so much ! It was very handy for the beach and tavernas and a walk up the Kastro .
Had a great time. Hotel very clean with a super comfy bed. Everywhere was cleaned regularly and linen/towels changed every 2-3 days. Kostas and his family were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return when we are next in Stoupa.
Everything seemed ok but as we settled in several things noticed. The toilet bins were not emptied every day and the overall standard of cleaning fell a little short of what we would expect ,maybe this is because theire isn’t enough staff. It seems to consist of Kostas who sits in his cubby hole all day and night, and his sister who seems to do everything else with not enough time. The garden is simply a stubby area of land and the garden swing is a broken down, rusty piece of junk. We asked about breakfast but was told they had to be ordered the day before so they could get it in.wwe didn’t bother as our confidence level in a guality provision was very low. I did go and ask for a ceaseless bowl but they didn’t have any, this summarised the hotel as if the hotel was being wound down—in June!. The cooking facilities are the very minimum and you could cook anything here, not a problem for us as we only had cereal for breakfast and ate out for everything else. Actually we really enjoyed our holiday and Kostas and his sister who seems to be the only people running the place were always very pleasant and helpful and the rooms were large but traditional or is it old fashioned. Overall enjoyable but could be better.…
Really nice basic cheap apartment close to beach and local amenities. Very clean but basic furniture that could do with update. Fantastic owner helpful and friendly . Room cleaned most days linen changed every 3 rd day
Just returned from a week at these apartments. Clean, very good sized room, basic but everything you needed. Bathroom fine, good shower. Owners helpful, friendly, always on hand but not obtrusive. Lovely cleaning lady! Would be more than happy to return and to recommend to anyone.
We booked this Hotel through Booking.com and having never been to Greece before we were greatly Surprised on How Beautiful both Stoupa & The Kleopatra is. We enjoyed it so much we have booked for next year!! We booked the Superior Room which was great, lovely View across the Garden to peoples back Gardens. The Bed was sooo comfortable(More so than ours at home), there was everything we needed in the Room such as Fridge, Cooker, Kettle, Tv (not that we used it much!!) and what what we did use the Aircon. it was heavenly especially on a Night. They do offer Breakfasts but as we wanted to try different places we went out for all of our food. so to sum up it is a great place to relax or to use as a base to travel around which we will be doing next year. Brilliant Hotel, Thanks again Konstantinos…
Just come back from a week's holiday at Kleopatra Stoupa and would like to thank Costas and his family for all their help whilest there. The studio I was in was spotlessly clean with good beds and towels. The view of the garden was nice. All in all a great time was had and I certainly would return.
The rooms were huge with a lovely spacious balcony with mountain views. The hotel owners were extremely friendly and they did everything they could to make our stay a good one. Another really good option for accommodation in Stoupa, and this hotel stays open all year round.
