The hotel consists of an old part and a new one. We spent one night in the old part of the hotel. The rooms were clean and large enough for spending a night. The room at the third floor was the largest and recommendable.

On our arrival the premises looked closed, but at 5pm the owner turned up and showed us to our room on the 2nd floor. Oak beams, but with plenty of room. Comfortable bed but the toilet and shower room was small, and there was no plug for shaving. I had to use one on the floor, but the dinner we...

My wife and I fell across this charming hotel by chance. We were made very welcome , although my schoolboy French came in very handy! We were offered a very modern room across the square from the main hotel. We stayed 2 nights. The hotel restaurant is very pleasant and good value but is not open on Sunday , however...

Every so often you come across a little gem in an out of the way area, this is it. Great food and hospitality. Apparently the hotel has been used as a setting in a recent film soon to be released the location is rural, very quite, calm and relaxing.

L'auberge de Marville is a lovely hotel with warmth and charm, and has a restaurant with a varied authentically french menu. The food was delicious and our hosts made our stay incredibly relaxing. The rooms are clean and large and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed touring around the area and seeing the Canadian Air Force Base that has...

We discovered this hotel and restaurant by accident - coming off the main road to look at Marville. Having toured the village, we had lunch in the restaurant and thought the food first rate - delicious, reflecting local cuisine at its best. English was spoken, although not to any great extent. We would have stayed in what appeared to be...

We found the hotel initally by passing the sign on the main road and enjoyed staying there and have returned twice more since. The food was very good the rooms are simple but clean and ours were quite roomy. Marville is very quiet but interesting to walk around with the war damage still evident, bullet damage to buildings and occasional...

It is ok "hotel" if there is nothing better around. Outside: Quite Charming and cozy. Front door closes at 9 PM. Make sure you get a key. Inside: French speaking only. Has a restaurant with very cute and warm setting. Rooms are clean, very plain without any extras, resemble a "motel" type of furniture. Small (tiny) TV that has just...
