My wife and I stayed here for six nights over the summer. The staff are friendly, yes, but I found it all a bit cliquey, if not a little contrite for my liking. Still, each to their own I suppose.

Despite its ultra modern cubist architecture which can only be described as "ugly", Aqua Blu is a very good hotel. Excellent amenities and first class staff and service with superb rooms particularly the large suites. I would not recommend the "pool suites".The main hotel pool...More

The spa doesn't do a specific special or happy hour, but during our time there they did have some offers on treatments. They had a "spa week" whilst there where all hour long treatments were €50 which was quite a substantial saving depending on the cost of some of the treatments. They did this twice whilst we were there... so I assume it's a regular thing.
The treatments are relatively expensive but does include free use of the facilities prior to treatment (indoor pool, sauna, steam etc) which would normally cost €20 to use.
We had one massage whilst there using the offer so paid €100 for 2 hour long massages and was an excellent experience.

Wasn’t great in the rooms (ground floor), but OK in common areas. And as for people saying that “this isn’t really the point of the hotel” - get a grip; a five star hotel should provide decent Wi-fi and I don’t want to be told by previous guests that I shouldn’t be using the internet!

"Not the pool suites. Small and everyone can see you! Best rooms are deluxe suites on 3rd and 4th floors"
