Just returned from a 2 night stay. Sunday night had food in the bar which wasn't great. There were lots of children running around and neither parents or staff seemed overly concerned that this was annoying customers who did not have children in tow. On Monday night we went to bar and assess what noise levels were like and again...

Lovely hotel, set in the most beautiful location. Absolute hidden treasure. The hotel staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The room was standard and needs modernisation. However, the room was clean and tidy. The food here was amazing with a varied menu to suit all. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

We spent another very pleasant three night stay here last weekend. Food & wine & drinks are of a good standard and reasonably priced. The hotel has quite limited facilities but there are a number of beaches only several minutes drive away. The management & staff are all very helpful & work hard at making your stay enjoyable & there is...

Third or fourth time staying here, the newly refurbished rooms were a lovely surprise. Although it's a reasonably sized hotel it always feels very homely. Looking forward to the next time! Plenty parking, small spar shop/petrol station over the road, and the wonderfully characterful teach billie bar on your doorstep.

Our guests, who had traveled from all over the world were so impressed with the staff, service and food that some have decided to visit Ostan Loch Altan again next year. We are very happy we...

Thank you for all your kind comments . I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, the Seafood Chowder is a great favourite with our guests. I love it too. It is one of our award winning house specialities of which our head chef, Lorarine, is rightly proud. Thank you for your high praise of our staff,...

Great wee hotel, helpful staff, very reasonably priced, hearty food and warm comfortable rooms. The breakfast was hot and delicious. We stayed on a Saturday night and the music from the bar could be heard in our room (227) but we didn't go to sleep until after the entertainment was over and slept like babies. All in all very satisfied...

I am pleased that you enjoyed the hot, fresh and delicious breakfast. I presume, like me, that you are not a great fan of the buffet style breakfast....
