This was our first visit to this fine establishment. It's located well away from the grind of modern life and is a purely charming experience. The castle and gardens are beautiful and there is a wonderful view from the castle to the lake. The staff are excellent. I don't say this often but every one of the people who work...

We booked 1 night there, expecting as advertised to be staying in the castle, but in actual fact we were accommodated in an attic conversation in the yard. the room was nicely decorated & well furnished but windows in the roof , it felt quite claustrophobic. There was no accommodation on the ground floor where we were. The afternoon tea...

Heard someone talking about this hotel and thought we'd give it a try. Really worth a visit. The rooms are very good but go for a delux for great views. The food was excellent and well presented and the grounds were beautifully kept. Best of all were the staff who couldn't be faulted especially Cian. Thanks for a great break.

We spent a great night here. On arrival we had a delightful snack from the bar menu and then took a stroll in the grounds. There is a huge lawn which falls away to Lough Rynn. Very picturesque. To the right we walked to the walled gardens. They overlook another stretch of the lake which forms a wonderful and beautiful...

We had dinner as a family group of 10 people. We opted for the reasonably priced bar menu and were surprised by the quality of the food! We were seated at a round table in the Great room. Special thanks to our waiter Gary and his immense patience with our family's many requests and queries. We all had after dinner...

Unbelievable place to stay. Located deep in the Irish forest and surrounded by incredible gardens. You can walk to the river or stroll the divine grounds and walled gardens. The castle is restored to its magnificent grandeur, the staff is there to assist in every way. We stayed in the castle, and I suggest this, they have other buildings outside...

My husband booked dinner and overnight accomodation for my birthday last year in Lough Rynn Castle. As always fantastic food and fantastic service. Lovely touch in the dining room to get glass of prosecco and "Happy Birthday" on my dessert.. The head waiter had recognised us from Sunday lunch a few weeks previous and it is these simple things that...

The stay started with a discovery that instead of adjusting our reservation dates as I requested in an email correspondence one of the reception staff just cancelled our reservation altogether (not what she confirmed when writing back). It was sorted out but the first bad impression stayed especially that the receptionist did try and convince me that I did cancel...

We stayed for one night mid week and could not fault lough rynn and it's staff. Check in was a breeze and we were kindly shown to our room which was a lovely old style with exposed wooden beams. We had booked afternoon tea and were seated by a window with beautiful views over the gardens. That evening we chose...
