Amazing job done by all staff and management in the Lough Rynn given the times we are in. Recently had the afternoon take away and to say it was divine wouldnt do it justice, everything was perfectly laid out and was almost to good to eat (almost). There was plenty in it unlike most places where you would still be peckish after so well done Lough Rynn you've ticked all the boxes on this one.

We went for dinner in restaurant, staff in restaurant were lovely. After spending over €100 in restaurant we thought it would be nice to walk around the hotel reception area to see the paintings on the walls etc. The manager seen us at the reception and told us to leave as its not allowed as we were not guests even though we told him we just came from the restaurant and we were wearing masks. He was not very polite when asking us to leave very abrupt and rude. Once the hotel has your money they want you out. Very disappointed and wont be returning.

I just want to applaud Lough Rynn and their staff for the amazing job they are doing during these challenging times. We stayed there one night and from the moment we were met at the door by the lovely manager Christna (sorry about spelling) we new this hotel was organised and friendly and made there guests feel comfortable and safe. We had dinner and drinks and we were constantly looked after on what was a very busy evening. All the bar and waiting staff that served us Michelle, Keeva and Josh were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for the customers. So thanks Lough Rynn for a lovely evening and I would highly recommend this hotel for a lovely night away.

Booked this as a birthday/anniversary night away and was very happy that I did. Gave the hotel a heads up it was a birthday and requested that a bottle of wine be sitting ready with a note on arrival and they delivered. We stayed in room 109 in the castle and had great view (request it!). Had food in the drawing room and it was nice, options on the menu were slightly disappointing but not a concern. Spoke to a few staff members who were all extremely friendly and accommodating. We got a sofa by the fire and drank to the early hours. However, if you do get seated at one of the small tables you might be uncomfortable, only thing I would change. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning, even if it is a 3 hour drive!
