Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting the Spanish Grand Prix. Hotel is in a great location right on the pedestrianised promenade overlooking the beach. Train station is a 10 minute walk away and an easy hop into Barcelona. Wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes within a stones throw of the front door. The owners are welcoming and lovely. Rooms are quite small but comfortable and the refurbished rooms have large walk in showers. They have secure garage parking a few streets away for those arriving by car. A great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona and with the beach outside your front door.

One of the best hotels that we have been comparing the price and service. The room is much higher standard that you expect by photos. Very clean hotel with every day cleaning, good quality soap/shampoo. The highlight feature is the seaside and the first line to the sea. All shops, restaurants, coffee shops for breakfast are around as the main High Street of Badalona. Beaches of Badalona are much cleaner than in Barcelona and you have train and underground around. In case beach is close during the rain you always can go to the next stop beach that most of the time is open. Despite the train and the street around rooms are very quiet with comfortable beds. You always can speak with the owners of the hotel and they are generously give you hand with everything. Very welcome hotel with an excellent service. I would rate it as the four star hotel.…

Oh my, How do I start , This Hotel made our Vacation complete! It is a family owned hotel for 75 years . They care about your stay and will help you with any questions and suggestions. It’s is clean , friendly, and next to the train . You hop on and your in Barcelona . ( only 4 quick stop away ) . Then you go back to hotel and relax next to beach . It’s just wonderful! My Husband and I will definitely come back ! It’s like going to a family home but better ! Don’t need to clean hehehe ! If I could give this hotel a 10 I would that’s how much I enjoy the place and people! Especially the family owned MiraMar Hotel . Martin and his family ! Sincerely, Lucho and Marta Bustamante

Had a lovely big room overlooking the beach and close to the city by train. Was very impressed with the service offered when I left my money belt containing 200 euro and a travel card on the bed. The staff cut up the card and sent a photo to show me. Then they transferred the money into my bank account in Melbourne, Australia. Very helpful. I feel very confident in recommending this hotel.

great hotel good service rooms kept nice and clean continental breakfast brilliant.had a single room, room size ok bathroom a bit small shower cubicle small but bathroom very clean and tidy. overall I would stay again but see if they had a room with a larger shower. if not I would still stay anyway

The rooms are basic. I had a single which was an ok size wise but the shower toilet were a tight fit. The room is clean although the are a couple of finishing type issues with wires. I had no noise issues and the air conditioning kept the room cool. Threee things stand out though. The staff are always helpful and our is great that the desk is managed 24 hours a day. The breakfast is excellent with lots of tasty foods and drinks including a fresh orange juice maker. The third thing is it's position just across from the beach close to lots of restaurants and easy walking distance from the train station or metro. Badalona is a lovely town to stay in and it is nice to stay out of the craziness of Barcelona but be so close to it.

If you want to see Barcelona and also have access to beach and the sea, I would recommend the Miramar: quietly friendly, helpful staff and clean, comfortable air-conditioned rooms at sensible prices. Barcelona is a 20' train journey away. The beach is a 2' walk. Bars and cafes 20" away. They will lend you beach towels and umbrellas. I've used it several times as have my family, and we'll keep coming back.

My son and I stayed here for the Catalan Moto GP. The room was large with 3 single beds and good storage, TV and Aircon. The bathroom was also large with a walk in shower unfortunately the shower had to be used with great care and half power otherwise the whole bathroom flooded right to the bedroom door. We used towels in the end to stop the water spreading. It was caused by the shower drain being inadequate in taking the water away fast enough. We also suffered from a total of 6 cockroaches. One was dead under the dresser, one also dead in the closed area just outside the patio door, one in the hall outside the room, one was crawling in the bathroom one morning, one in my sons bed one night and one ran under my bed on the morning we left.
