Small family-run hotel, located in the palm trees promenade in the seafront of Badalona. Quiet and relaxing area, where many sports can be practiced (rollerskating, salinig, kitte & windsurf,...) And just at 20 minutes from Barcelona city centre in public transport.

Room 439 (I think it was) was our balcony room for our stay and overlooked the sea.
It was a good job we’d pre-booked parking as there was only space for three cars in the garage.
Breakfast hasn’t been available since Covid but we bought items for a room breakfast.
Water pressure in the shower is inadequate for a proper shower but a sign in the lobby advised of water shortages so possibly the pressure was turned down.
The reception staff were always most helpful and friendly.
The paintwork on the balcony was flaking off and quite unsightly.
I liked our stay here.

Room Tip: On Floor 4, avoid the balcony room next to the lift as I’m sure it would be noisy.

Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting the Spanish Grand Prix. Hotel is in a great location right on the pedestrianised promenade overlooking the beach. Train station is a 10 minute walk away and an easy hop into Barcelona. Wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes within a stones throw of the front door. The owners are welcoming and lovely. Rooms are quite small but comfortable and the refurbished rooms have large walk in showers. They have secure garage parking a few streets away for those arriving by car. A great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona and with the beach outside your front door.

Practically on the beach, therefore very good location. They have garages to park cars, otherwise the car is complicated to park. The wifi works well and a gentleman at the reception who was super friendly and helpful

One of the best hotels that we have been comparing the price and service. The room is much higher standard that you expect by photos. Very clean hotel with every day cleaning, good quality soap/shampoo. The highlight feature is the seaside and the first line to the sea. All shops, restaurants, coffee shops for breakfast are around as the main High Street of Badalona. Beaches of Badalona are much cleaner than in Barcelona and you have train and underground around. In case beach is close during the rain you always can go to the next stop beach that most of the time is open. Despite the train and the street around rooms are very quiet with comfortable beds. You always can speak with the owners of the hotel and they are generously give you hand with everything. Very welcome hotel with an excellent service. I would rate it as the four star hotel.

The category that corresponds to this hotel is a 1-star hostel, at least the room they gave us and which we rejected, since due to characteristics and price we did not want to stay. It needs a total remodel, the elevator is scary, the parking lot is in a shameful state of repair, the room, the furniture and the beds are "barracks". I don't recommend it at all.

Perfect family hotel, on the beach and close to the center. Very welcoming and the staff very friendly and do everything possible to help you have a perfect stay. We were in a room with a terrace overlooking the sea, very spacious and full of light. The perfect bathroom, very comfortable beds and pillows.

Oh my, How do I start , This Hotel made our Vacation complete! It is a family owned hotel for 75 years . They care about your stay and will help you with any questions and suggestions. It’s is clean , friendly, and next to the train . You hop on and your in Barcelona . ( only 4 quick stop away ) . Then you go back to hotel and relax next to beach . It’s just wonderful! My Husband and I will definitely come back ! It’s like going to a family home but better ! Don’t need to clean hehehe ! If I could give this hotel a 10 I would that’s how much I enjoy the place and people! Especially the family owned MiraMar Hotel . Martin and his family ! Sincerely, Lucho and Marta Bustamante

Enjoyed 5 nights at the Miramar just before Easter and was pleasantly surprised. It is a clean pleasant hotel and the room we were staying in was big with a balcony and a nice bathroom. We did not eat int he hotel but breakfast looked fine though expensive we chose to eat out at a local cafe. Badalona is a pleasant town with a good beach a good range of shops and excellent train link into to Barcelona taking no more than 20 minutes. There are plenty of bars and restaurants even out of season we could find nice places to eat. Barcelona is a great city location and even after 5 nights where we tried hard to see as much as we can we will come back as there is much more still to see. The Miramar provided an excellent base and we certainly preferred it to being in the centre of Barcelona. We would certainly go back to this hotel in the future

As far as I know they run until at least midnight - check the timetable online for confirmation. They do run quite frequently about 2 or 3 an hour. Hope this helps?
Hello, there is a lift for most of the rooms. Although there are 4 rooms (2 double and 2 with balcony) that can only be accessed up stairs. If you make a reservation you can ask specifically for a room with lift access. Thank you. Marta Vila. Front Desk Manageress.
There are more places to choose from in the Badalona area.
