Amazing sized room in this circular built hotel after talking with Reception staff polite ,helpful with all our requirements. Good humour made you feel welcome from the moment you walked in. Room on 4th floor views over several areas ,openable window which helped to maintain the right room temperature air conditioning available. Bed very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with easy to use shower beautiful towels etc. Helpful staff for all your additional cups,towels. Great hotel, good size rooms, only half an hour away from Barcelona and half the price of what we would have paid for a family room in Barcelona. Parking was included and food was very good and reasonably priced.

We stayed here 1 night, while walking the Camino Catalan. Pluses: - we stayed in a triple room with a friend, and 90 euro is very reasonable - helpful staff - lots of outlets - clean & secure - space-like design, with "doughnut" shape: All rooms encircle an atrium & bar - free, strong wifi - walking distance to the Camino Santiago trail (it runs through the town park) Minuses: - on the edge of town, not near anything in Terrassa

Visiting Barcelona for work purposes twice a year I usually stay in the town of Granollers. This year because of COVID restrictions I was moved from my usual hotel to the ‘Hotel Don Candido’ of Terrassa! Which was somewhere new for me and made a very pleasant change. The hotel is in a cylinder format and very easy to get to from the motorways and you can’t miss it with the big signage and easy parking spaces right outside! The hotel was very prepared for us guests in the current covid climate with mask wearing mandatory from guests and staff! There was hand sanitiser stations set up throughout the hotel and a thermal temperature screening camera upon the entrance. I felt very safe the whole time of my visit. The hotel itself and its lobby is very up to date with an amazing bar area in the middle full of indoor growing plants and a glass ceiling , very modern and stylish! The rooms are of good size with the beds very comfortable and use of air conditioning , fridges , big HD TV and a good sized bathroom with a powerful shower! They were cleaned every single day for my stay of 11 days which I was very impressed with! Clean towels, sanitising wipes and face masks everyday were a nice touch! I personally would of preferred a double bed compared to a single one but the European style single was still fine and I slept well every night! The food was served in the main dining area of the hotel which was very well spaced out and tables limited to 5 people for social distancing measures! It was a buffet style dining with staff members fetching the food for us which was most appreciated and they all spoke very good English which is good as my Spanish is not so great. The food itself was okay - with it being left in these hot food holders i didn’t really have a hot dinner the whole time I was there as e erh thing had turned cold which was disappointing but the taste of the food was good ! The breakfast selections in the mornings was very good with unlimited use of the coffee machine which is always good to wake me up in the mornings! All in all a very good stay of which I was impressed with the vast majority of the hotel and am contemplating making it my hotel of choice for all future trips to Barcelona! Thank you once again. …

Whoever designed this hotel probably has never spent a night here. The noise comes from all directions: from upstairs, next door rooms, from the double carriageway outside, and the central inner courtyard which has the bar. This hotel should know the noise issue for some time but looks like nothing has been done to reduce it. At least tell your bar staff not to use the coffee machine and bang the sump at 5am. Apart from that we found the restaurant and bar understafffed, had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks at our first night. I was going to give one star (minimum) but added another star due to excellent shower.

Beautiful hotel, stylish with great bonsai trees, big clean bright rooms. Reception stuff is excellent, unfortunately can not say this for restaurant stuff. In restaurant was disappointing experience, we were waiting long, no oil, salt, we have to get it by ourselves, fish was out so they replaced with another fish, bread was out will come in 10 minutes..coffee, they forget it, breakfast, eggs are out???. Stuff were not helpful at all. Such a nice hotel should have more polite and flexible people working in the restaurant. Fitness is small but enough, problem was that devices were all plugged off, so the guest must plug the electricity in by themselves and find the correct buttons and programs..some were not working. there is no drinking water in fitness- never saw that. it's easy to put one water machine in gym.. Spa was opened at 10.00 a.m. , usually people from fitness in the morning goes to spa, but it's not open yet. So, excellent hotel but should be managed much better.…

The modern design of the Hotel is nice to look at, but the architect never slept in a Hotel. As a business traveler I have my Hotel mainly to sleep. The Hotel is loud from all sides. From the outside you have a busy street, from the inside the bar entertaining every room directly to the door until the last guest leaves. You participate on every noise in the central court. The hard floors let you participate with your upper neighbour, the walls let you enjoy the snoring of your side neighbour. The beds are equipped with a hygienic plastic cover. Due to noise and car fumes opening the windows is not an option. The AC in November only heats. If you like sleeping cool - its hard to realise.The restaurant, personnel and cleaning was good.

The reception staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very good, however with the same selection everyday. The food in the restaurant is just what I would expect from 4* hotel. A big plus is the light in the bathroom. The bed was too hard for me (I woke up with a headache everyday) , but after 5 nights I got used to. A (advantageously priced) shuttle to/from Barcelona airport would be great.
