Hosts Page and John are outstanding. Air port pick up, bags delivered to the Lodge. Same with Departure. Fresh home made muffins, and if your lucky cookies, with coffee every morning. There are two lodges, side by side, new and slightly used. Accommodations/room are clean with in suite shower and toilet. Cozy warm. Each Lodge has a kitchen facility so...

Definite the nicest place to stay while in Rankin. I have went to Rankin several times and this is hands down an awesome place to stay . They also have suites available. The owners are great people and there is fresh muffins every morning . The place is kept so well it looks like a brand new building.

Stayed at the Nanuq in Jan/2015. Room was spacious and clean. Internet was fast and reliable. Continental breakfast was provided and good. Short walk to the Wild wolf restaurant. Also a 400m walk to KFC, the Co-op or the Turaarvik Restaurant. You can hear the dog howling next door threw the night which don't bother me but could be annoying...

The rooms are comfortable and warm. Breakfast was included, which makes this a great deal for this area. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, with rides to and from the airport. They even picked up my luggage which arrived 24 hrs after I did, and provided me with a few personal items until I received mine.

If you are travelling to Rankin Inlet you have to stay here. John and Page are so friendly and considerate. The rooms are impeccable. I stayed in the new building - my room had lots of space, a double bed, a fold out futon, colour tv, large bathroom, coffee pot, and a microwave. The common kitchen is well stocked and...

Not the Ritz but good for the north. Clean and friendly. A decent breakfast and comfortable beds. Breakfast consists of cereal yogourt toast coffee and juice. Certainly the best place in Rankin I have stayed in. Only trouble is no restaurant I recommend

Have stayed at this hotel/B&B many time since they started. With 2 buildings now they can accommodate many more business and eco tourism customers. Owner Page Burt is pretty special. And if the weather turns on you, you find out quickly just how god she is helping you out. Quality accommodations on the shores of Hudson Bay.

The hosts were AMAZING, very accommodating and polite. I kind of got trapped in Rankin from flights being changed and cancelled. Called over and got a room - apparently I was lucky - the lodge was PACKED! The room was comfortable and clean and just pleasant. Run more as a bed and breakfast, there is continental breakfast available. Food was...

I was up on business for just under 1 week. The two owners here met me at the airport, helped with luggage and where very friendly. The rooms were very nice. A real nice spot to stay for sure and watch the northern lights. Just don't mind the dogs in the pen out back sometimes howling.

Such a wonderful oasis from Nunavut's unpredictable weather! I stayed in the new part, with a nice suite that had a sitting room, bedroom, bath, and kitchenette. The owners are extremely nice and helpful (Page is an expert on arctic plants and wildlife), the cleaning staff very friendly.
