Brian and his family (including Sasha the pet dog) at eagles wings guest house made the stay one of the most unforgettable for our entire trip! The 'treehouse' type accommodation in amongst the lush, outdoor setting was enough in itself to make us want to stay longer! The food was some of the best we ate, the hospitality and Brian's...

This makes a great base for visiting the region. Brian is a very friendly and knowledgeable host who will help you make the best of your time here. The food was simply wonderful - we didn't book it up front, but ended up having all our breakfast and dinner here - and are so pleased we did as we got...

My boyfriend and I spent three nights in Bryan's Guest House and we loved it. He's a very friendly and knowledgable host, we really enjoyed chatting to him and learning about his life and Sri Lanka during our meals. Bryan was great organising a tuk-tuk for a day and also advising on when it's better to use what transportation, tuk-tuk...

We had a wonderful stay here! The owner, Bryan helped us a lot in arranging a tuktuk driver to show us all the great spots and landmarks in the area. This is a good central location to visit places like Sigiriya Polonaruwa and Ritigala. We also did a wonderful jeep safari here in one of the great national parks to...

Usually my partner will only let me book 5 star hotels but I was keen to add in one home stay or rustic stay during our 13 nights in Sri Lanka, and the only 5 * option was booked for 2 of our 4 planned nights here. I chose Habarana due to its proximity to Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla caves, Polonnaruwa...

The hosts are just amazing! Jay help us with all the tours, buses and made great food. Chris was only there one night but gave us great tips for the rest of our trip. He knows Sri Lanka and has nice spots and friends all over the country. Sleeping in a tree house is an adventure. It's very quiet and...

You don't visit for the comfort. You visit to meet the host Brian and to get the most authentic experience you could imagine. The tree houses are very simple, but Brian is truely an amazing host who can tell you everything about the area and available activities. The food is amazing and to be honest, it feels more like you...

Brian was welcoming and helpful to me during my stay. The accomodation is basic- don't expect luxury, but it was clean charming and comfortable. I had a great sleep, hearing only the sounds of the jungle. The good was generous and tasty. Brian was sweet, and felt like he needed to look after me as I was traveling alone though...
