Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for one night recently as we were visiting Spanish Point to join the Snamhai sasta swim on the Sunday morning. The lodge is a lovely friendly place. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Fabulous food, really comfortable rooms and literally across the road from the beach. A magnificent view from the dining room at breakfast time as the Wild Atlantic waves broke along the shore. My only complaint was that we had to leave after one night. I will definitely be back to this beautiful part of our country. Oh the swim was great gas too!

Had lunch recently in this Bistro & Wine Bar. The location is terrific, overlooking the beach / seascape in Spanish Point on the Wild Atlantic Way. The young lady in charge during our visit was fantastic, very friendly and inviting, and provided an excellent service. This Bistro is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated providing a very pleasent dining experience. The menu is not extensive and is an "all day" menu, but it offers enough to suit most tastes. The food was good and we enjoyed our visit very much. We hope to return in the not too distant future. This establishment also offers luxury accomodation.

We stayed for 1 night only for a wedding recently that was in the Armada. It was beautiful weather and we had a fabulous view of the beach and the wild Atlantic way in front of our room. The room was decorated lovely modern but cosy and everything was spotless. We had a yummy breakfast which was included in the price 120e bed and breakfast. We had a choice of hot cooked breakfast no cold options but we didn't mind. Overall a great place to stay we will be back.
