Room 41 at Hubertushof, we (two people) paid EUR 148 for one night (1/2 April 2017, booked six days ahead by booking.com ) including copious breakfast and parking lot. One window (back yard), no balcony, no bathtub. Spacious and quiet room with usual amenities. Central location,500 m from the Kaiservilla (on a hill) which made Bad Ischl famous.

We were greeted right away. No check-in process they just escorted us directly to our room. It was our most pleasant check-in ever. The owner was everywhere making sure our stay was pleasurable. The food in the restaurant was excellent authentic Austrian. The breakfast was also very good with a nice variety. The room and entire hotel was well maintained...

I can't speak for all the rooms, but the furniture in my room was well-maintained and it was SPOTLESS. I wouldn't say it is modern, but certainly comfortable. Like other guests, the free wifi did not work during my stay and I had to go to other venues. The hotel is well-located and I enjoyed the pool, steam room and...

The public areas were well maintained but the furniture in the room was not well maintained, scratched and marked. The plug in the bathroom vanity was broken and water would not drain. The owner was very rude and arrogant. His behaviour made our stay very unpleasant. We will return to Bad Ischl but not to Landhotel. Hotel staff compensated for...

The hotel is ideally placed in Bad Ischl. Minutes away from the bus and train stations and the town centre. This is a family run hotel with a happy and helpful team. The breakfast buffet is superb and the evening meals are varied, tasty and very filling. As in all Austrian hotels, the soups are a speciality. The small pool...

My wife and I traveled across Austria from Vienna to Salzburg, staying at European 4-Star hotels, and this one falls in the middle of the group. There were some positives, with a great location in downtown Bad Ischl (walking distance to any shop or restaurant), free parking, and an on site restaurant. Our room had clearly had an upgrade to...

We stayed here on the first night of a walking holiday. The room was OK a bit the worse for wear needing a bit of TLC. The service and attitude a bit regulated and the food was edible but not great. It is not the worst but I would not stay here again.

A group of 4 couples spent the second week of an Operetta Tour of Austria in this lovely hotel in bad Ischl. The owners, Herr & Frau Panhuber could not have been more helpful from the moment we arrived to the time of our departure. Local advice was readily given. Hotel is centrally situated, 2 minutes walk from main shopping...

It was close to bus/ train stop.. Easy walk to the conference center and stores. Room ( single) was small but nice. No fridge in room - (i did not ask for one). There are steps to get to room. I don't know if they have more accessible room. Breakfast seemed plentiful and tasty I found the service to be...

Nice hotel, pretty central location and great for touring the main sightseeing areas such as Hallstat, salt mines and then the ice caves. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the last evening there was an incredible storm that caused flooding and lots of damages with falling trees etc.. And the staff still served us food and drinks for...
