The hotel is located uphill right next to the busstation. If you happen to use Google maps then it might be confusing since the entrance is a bit hard to find. The entrance is a small uphill road. The hotel is more traditional, with antique furniture everywhere. We had a huge room for 3 people and 1 dog. There was... More

The hotel is right across from the train station, so easy to get to! One weird thing...it's up a long, cobblestone driveway, poorly marked. Felt deserted! But, it is a beautiful, old building, well maintained. The young woman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. The place is filled with antiques, paintings, and the hallways... More

We stayed in this hotel for two days to see the Kaiser birthday celebrations and it could not have been more well placed. The ease of access to all Bad Ischl has to offer. The breakfast is fabulous and has a lot of choice, which is well presented. Our bedroom was immaculately clean and the bath was extravagant! Super stay... More

This hotel is in a 500 year building. We had a great time here. We were travelling with kids and the host kindly changed our room to a larger one. The hotel is filled with antique furniture which was very interesting. We enjoyed the free wifi, great location - right next to the station and about 100 metres to the... More

If you are arriving by train this hotel / b&b is as convenient as it gets as its just a stone's throw away from Bad Ischll's train station. However, if you have lots of luggage and lack a car, the walk up the long and very steep driveway will leave you wondering if you could have done better. Anyways, we... More

We wanted to explore Salzkammergut area and since we did not have a car, we chose Bad ischl as our base. This hotel was perfect for our purpose. Right next to the bus stop(buses from salzburg stop here), the hotel has its own garden. It is very nice and quiet. Wooden flooring gave a nice old feel. We had a... More

I stayed here for 11 nights for a conference and it was perfect! Very quiet room, right next to the train and bus stations and across from the Eurospa. A 15 minute walk to the center of town. Christel, the owner, was so kind and welcoming and the building is so pretty and historic, it was very "Austrian"! Would definitely... More

A good location for the train & bus station and the town itself. Two aspects disappointed us. There were some ramshackle electrics in our bathroom where only a single single light bulb worked; rather worse, the breakfast fare was poorly displayed, difficult to access, and sloppily cared for. There's enough space to do this properly. We have found such poor... More

This hotel may be for everyone; however we enjoyed our stay. It's set back in its own grounds and is opposite the station and the spa. It's quite, our room was large, enormous TV, two bathrooms and a balcony. We didn't see the owners until the next day when we had a good breakfast in a large conservatory. The hotel... More

This hotel mightn't be for everybody but if you like a relaxed atmosphere, big rooms, nice balcony, great location then this could be for you. We stayed in Late May and the weather was awful, it rained for 2 days but the hotel made us feel very comfortable. The owners were very nice and had good english to accommodate our... More
