The location is ideal, right in the heart of the old Agde and situated on a lovely square with shops and bars. If you can, ask for the room with the balcony and view onto the river. Although the room is very basic and not thoroughly cleaned, it does have nice views and feels more spacious than other rooms. The...

Having stayed at the galore in the past i was surprised to see the management had changed. It is a budget priced hotel but disappointed to find that wifi is available in the lobby only.. The price is basic and so is the hotel and services. The location on the Quai near the river restaurants is its saving grace. Proximity...

This hotel has received many 'terrible' ratings and having read some, I am not in a place to disagree. Alas, we were stuck for a place to stay in Agde due to making a late decision to visit the town, and sadly, there was no room elsewhere. Our room was just poor and there is no other way to describe...

Told us breakfast was free, then charged us 16 euros for a baguette, some jam, coffee and orange juice. Wifi was not working, no hot water. Clouds of flies in reception. Room was ok; clean at least and had a nice balcony. Overall would not recommend

We stayed here at the end of a 4-day cycling holiday. We weren't looking for luxury, just a clean and comfortable room with a decent breakfast. The room was clean but let down by very cheap nylon bedding, dead plants on the balcony, gloomy damp-smelling corridors and noisy plumbing. The breakfast was also disappointing - some bread and jam and...

From the moment we arrived the service was awful. Thankfully we statyed just one night and were very pleased to leave. The room was dirty with cigarette butts on the floor, dirt in the bed and smelled awful. The shower looked like the best part, until you tried to use it. The water came out of the pipe before the...

Staff was friendly but got room with no window....well one window into the corridor in the hotel. If you are into low standard cheap hotel style you will probably like it but for me it was a star too low standard. Shower was new and brilliant in the room. big one showerhead above you (not the cabinet style) Central location...

I live there , I saw the owner go inside with two young girls, probably under eighteen. And a lot of booze, they were making so much sound I couldn't sleep for hours!! And on top of that my bed was horrible and there were bugs in the room. Not only bad hygiene but the owner is around 60 and...

Such a shame! Such a beautiful ancient building and very sweet staff but worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Dirty, burn holes on sheets; electricity didn't work safely; shower flooded; sink broken; toilet didn't lock - we made a list that took up a page! Never again!

This hotel-restaurant is situated in a classified building which was the palace of Bishop of Agde in the 17th century. The new owners are from Paris and fell in love with the area on multiple vacations, before deciding to invest in this venture. They are currently having difficulty convincing the local authorities to allow them to redecorate the premises (they...
