The hotel is an extrodinary one, the suite room was very spacious with two queen size bed. Breakfast was superb and the the casino gambling place is ultimate. Apart from this it has other activities as well to enjoy. It is very hard to explore the property in 1 day.

Huge HOTEL with 4 enteries and extra ordinarily cooperative staff to help the visitors. Attracting the tourist with fineness of the interior and offering great deals and offers. The hotel itself is a tourist spot signifies how best it is. No tourist would like to step out of the same as it held the shopping centre, different varities of restaurants...

We stayed at the Venetian for only one night but we wished it was longer. From the moment we arrived the staff where so welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was my partners birthday and they arranged a cake (actually 2) for us to celebrate which was so unexpected and kind. The kids loved staying there too...

We stayed here for 3 nights and was delighted by the hotel facilities and amenities that catered to the young and the adults. Though casino was main highlight but we never got tired of moving around and outside the resort. Thus making it an entertaining place to stay.

Hi,

Even if you are not guests at the hotel you can use most of the facilities.

We were based in Hong Kong for 8 nights and travelled to Macua by ourselves on the Turbo Jet Ferry.

All the major hotels have free shuttle buses from the ferry wharf to the hotel - Venetian included.

We spent a couple of hours at the Venetian - one area your would actually think you are in Venice with the canals - the roof looks like the sky with stars. Lots of shops inside the hotel, lots of gambling if you like, plenty of restaurants and I mean lots.

It is very clean inside the hotel, staff courteous and be prepared to walk lots as this hotel is HUGE.

It is good to visit the other hotels too and Macau is great for walking - you really do not need to go on an organized tour - walking to the Church ruins is easy.

Whichever hotel you end up at the end of the day then just use their free shuttle bus to get back to the ferry terminal.

Hope I helped a bit with my answer.

Regards,

Ken

1. Cold for me is 12 degrees celsius and below. It drops down to that temperature in January to February. December averages around 20 degrees. A light scarf and jacket would do in the day. I was there in March 2016 with a cousin who works in Hong Kong, she says December and March are the same temperature-wise. I did not go out at night, I don't know if it warrants more in the evenings.

2. When you exit the ferry terminal, you need to go through an underpass to get to the shuttles. Don't worry, there will be lots of hotel representatives from Macau hotels to guide you through. Most of them speak English. The Venetian buses are easy to spot. Your luggage will be stored at the luggage compartments underneath the bus. It will take you to The Venetian's shuttle bay where dozens of buses ferry people to and from the hotel. I can't remember if the entrance where the shuttle bays are is called West Lobby but it is a bit of a walk to where the check in counters are. There is a concierge near the entrance, ask away.

3. The Venetian isn't terribly strict about guest and non-guest areas. Sometimes, the staff stationed at the elevators to the guest rooms will ask to see your room key card, most of the time they don't. I did not visit the pool area, gym, or play areas, I'm not sure if those are restricted either.

We went on a weekday, there were a lot of people then but the food courts, the mall, the casinos, gondolas were not particularly crowded. The hotel restaurants were not crowded either.

4. All of the big hotels with casinos appear to have shuttles that can take you from one casino to another. I used the public transport to get to Senado square but you can ask the concierge how to get to the tourist sites using the free shuttles and how to get back. They all speak good English and are very helpful.

5. I did not try out the hotel restaurants, I'm afraid I can't give you a good recommendation. Have you tried emailing the hotel? I did not contact them via email myself, but when I checked in and they saw that there were elderly people in our group, they made special arrangements for us. I imagine they will be as helpful to you regarding your inquiry.

6. The House of Dancing Water at the City of Dreams (just across the hotel in the Cotai Strip side) is highly recommended but we did not have time to see it. If you have kids with you, it might be better to see a show but if you don't, hotel-hopping is enjoyable enough, and it's free.

Qns 6 . As stated by @christopoloss , the House of Dancing Waters is a must watch and crowd- pleaser . I have watched it twice and it is magnificent everytime I watched it performed . Also to add-on , please make use of the services of Qube , which is kid's play area at the Venetian mall which you can make sure to spare some time for the adults to visit the casino which children are prohibited entry . All big time casino hotels have their own free show and/ or performance showing at intervals of 30 mins or at specific timings of the day , like twice a day or something . Please research before heading to avoid disappointments .. Wynn's , Sand's Macau , Venetian , Galaxy , MGM . Dining after mid-nights in the casino area's in-house restaurant for me also gives me added pleasure to win at the tables and use it at my desire .
