Stayed here in July 2021. Hotel has 56 rooms. I would imagine this was an old hotel that has been modernised by the Gaia chain. Location. Very good. One road back from the main strip and quiet. Strip is 2 mins walk. Beach 3 mins walk away. Rooms : there are mainly two levels but a few rooms are on level 3. we had a ground floor room which was ideal for us and we got a larger balcony. The rooms are small but you only sleep there and therefore a quite adequate. The air con was super cool which we needed in July. The bathroom was small but looked recently retiled and the shower was super hot and powerfull. room also has fridge and safe. All rooms effectively look towards the sea and the doors open onto to the pool area. Pool Area : Pool looks relatively newly refurbished and good non slip tiles. We never struggled to get a sun lounger though there are probably not enough if everyone wanted to sit by the pool. The pool bar and the barmen are very helpful and drinks are a plenty. Whilst i like glasses to drink from i am not so happy about them being around the pool and plenty did get dropped. More concerning was that some guests seemed to think it was ok to take Glasses into the pool itself to drink from????? Food - It is all inclusive and i would say it was good but just good. All self service. We did not think there was a huge choice and i felt the salads could have had some more choice especially as this is Greece. The bar servers were very helpful and were good company. We did eat out quite a few nights as the local restaurants are very good. Evenings - although the pool bar is open until 11PM for AI and after for cash we opted on all nights to go into the main strip and have drinks as there was not much atmosphere here. That said it is a very peaceful and quiet location You do have access to the Gaia village across the road but we did not bother as it seemed busy and full of kids. We would use this hotel again for its location and the Adult Only is a plus!…
Returned to this lovely hotel this year after a wonderful stay last year. Still excellent hotel with amazing restaurant staff, headed up by Victor. For us though its lost a little magic. Food very repetative this year and the atmosphere was different somehow. Still had great time but will be trying Crete next year. However, anyone who wants a relaxing stay in a lovely well run hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, this is the place for you.
This was a return trip for us after falling in love with the hotel last year. The hotel is still beautiful - situated locally to all you could possibly need and well cared for from the cleaning staff right up to management. The rooms are perfect for everything you need and the addition of kettles this year was a welcome bonus. The waiting staff - Victor, Petrit and Alex were the same wonderful, attentive people they were last year and it was a true pleasure to see them again. Both the men on the bar were chatty and also did a great job though the presence of Christos was sorely missed as he had amazing rapport with all guests. The food gave plenty of choice at each meal though wasn't as amazing as last year. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing bad about it as such but unlike last year, it did begin to get a little repetitive and there didn't seem to be as much choice as there was last year. Breakfast was always particularly good though and I highly recommend the freshly made waffles! Why then has the hotel.lost a little magic? For me it was having Anna the receptionist missing. The new lady is lovely and I mean no disrespect to her, but Anna picked up immediately on the little personal touches that really made your holiday. One example is that both years, we have gone to Kos for my birthday. I know you can pay a small fee and have your room decorated and have a fuss made to celebrate though this is not something that I would want. However, last year, Anna had noticed just from taking our passport details that it was going to be my birthday coming up. She arranged, off her own back, for a birthday cake to be made by the kitchen and it was brought to me with sparklers on by the waiters at the end of our evening meal. It wasn't done with a huge fuss or lots of attention and was a lovely personal touch that made me feel valued. There was nothing this year though - not even a wish of happy birthday. Also, last year, we rebooked to come again this year and when we told Anna, she immediately asked if we wanted her to make arrangements on the system so we could have the same room. It was those sort of little touches that made the magic and made us want to return, almost regardless of cost. This year without those little things, it has meant that though we will definitely return to Tingaki, as we love it, we will be looking at different hotels.…
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Gaia in Style. The staff were really friendly, everything was well maintained and our room was spotless. The room was a good size, well maintained and the shower was always hot and powerful. We were in a sea view, but being right at the end of the hotel you could only see it from the balcony if you craned your neck and looked between the trees – but this wasn’t a problem. We had an all inclusive package and found the food good quality at every meal, although the selection felt very samey – they do put some variations in, but it didn’t feel enough. If you like spaghetti bolognaise then this is the place it is available for lunch and dinner every day (accept bbq night). The bbq was actually pretty good and they had someone in to perform Greek music for us. I don’t like entertainment but Gaia is great as they do it twice a week and it finishes at a reasonable time, the Greek night was actually very good. Staff were all very helpful, particularly in the pool bar and restaurant. Drinks are cheap or watered down, their cocktails were also very nice, sex on the beach and the San Francisco can be recommended. For the price paid this hotel is fantastic and I would highly recommend it. I have tried to show a true reflection of our experience above, but award 5* because balancing what we got against what we paid, you couldn’t wish for better.…
All Adults Hotel with around 50 Rooms, Room clean, shower with sliding door. Tea & Coffee making facilities, Safe and Fridge. Air-con in room very quiet. Staff in Restaurant friendly and efficient and also at the Pool Bar. Plenty of choice of food in Restaurant, cooked food could be a lot warmer. Tea or cofee had to be paid for after 9 pm at the Pool Bar which was unusual in All Inclusive especially if you didn't drink alcohol. Could do with a laundry facility as had a problem trying to find somerwhere to have clothes cleaned. Hotel is a short walk from the beach and also for getting the bus into Kos Town.
