The one thing they don't tell you about this hotel is that they mow the golf course at 6 a.m everyday and golfers vie with the mower as to which can make the most noise right under your bedroom window. Great if you like golf. The staff fall into two camps the foreign ones who are great and the 6 english bar staff who argued about the till being down so loudly we could hear them in another room some distance away. The food was okay but a small breakfast and half a dozen residents ate it in a room that could probably seat 200 easily. The pool okay but the mens changing room had three plastic chairs and nothing else to sit on which may be okay at times but I was the forth man in also if there are sauna's and steam rooms I always think it is a good idea to provide water. In esence

Have stayed at this hotel on three or four occasions.Last occasion, date may not be exact, woken up firstly at kicking -out time from the hotel bar (this is really a golfers hotel).Drunks then sat in the courtyard (which the rooms look out onto) drunkenly ranting, told to be quiet by other guest, started swearing and being abusive to complainee.Do not think the staff should have allowed them to finish their drinks outside, and surely Managers should put a stop to this practice. Then-oh joy-woken up at about 7am by the ride-on lawnmower cutting the green, very noisily.and right next to the courtyard. Why they couldnt have cut the other numerous acres of green at this ungodly hour first, rather than cut the part right next to all our rooms is anyones guess.Points again to poor

1. Rude and arrogant staff (wouldn't have minded the arrogance had they had something to be arrogant about). 2. Tatty and not the cleanest of rooms and public areas. 3. Badly laid out and confusing to find your way round. 4. No one was obviously in charge - plenty of people milling around in what could be construed as managerial attire, but turned out to be overdressed waiting staff. 5. Great if you're a golfer as you will be treated with kid gloves, if you're there for any other reason it's self service all the way. 6. THE NOISE! Considering it is a purpose built hotel and reasonably new, there is absolutely no excuse for the noise that comes through from above and beside you in the bedrooms. We ended up having 2 hours sleep before a big wedding the next day becasue they had
