I was a bit disappointed by the resort, probably because I had high expectations based on other travellers' reviews. The rooms in the main building are adequate but that's about it. The bathroom was so small you had to maneuver around the door and close it to use the facilities. The bathroom fan was connected to the light switch, which...

The front desk & staff are amazing people! Can't thank them all enough for my mistake on booking! They were all able to help make it happen and fix my foolish mistake. Cabin wise we had 2 & 5, great for a family of 4 in each cabin. It was cozy and enough space! The Pool was kind of gross...

Positive: comfortable beds, sort of clean rooms, calm waters if you're into water activities, view is good too Negative: outdated rooms, main lodge walls are thin, expensive for the room you get, area doesn't have restaurants or eating places close by (eat at their restaurant or drive to Sechelt or to Madeira park), restaurant prices are expensive

My stay was to attend a family event....as such I only needed a single night stay and did not require any other services....that is no food, no drink, no water sports....therefore I only required an in out experience and that provided.

I booked this resort as a birthday gift to my husband, who's a lifelong Lions fan. He'd heard BC Lions coach Wally Buono recommend it as a pleasant escape. We didn't know what to expect but, if it's good enough for Wally, it's good enough for us. We went in the shoulder season of May so pretty much had the...

Beautiful location right on the open water however hotel and property needs an overhaul. Felt like a cheap motel when pulling up had a garage sale as you pulled up of the old room stuff as they are doing some renos. Stayed in a Reno room which no complaints but just felt like a basic best western room. Staff was...

We've been to Rockwater several times in the last few years. And every single time we go we receive both a 5-star meal and service. (Thank you, Marin!) After today, they are still batting a thousand. We had the pear, ricotta and beet salad appetizer along with smoked olives, spiced hazelnuts and chicharron (pork rinds) to start. Wonderful mix of...

Careful lighting and cropped photos not as plush as advertised. Pillows like bolsters very uncomfortable, bathroom cold have to leave door open to warm. Beware or rocks when parking car. Vending not working and very expensive, take own drinks and snacks, restaurant expensive. Great location and views
