It is close to the beach.AC worked well and has mosquito Netz. The bangalow we had was a little bit old with old furniture and outside bathroom.for the price is fine( 300.000 a night) but if you wanna give a little bit more, you will find great places.

quiet, middle priced, clean and friendly spot, not far to the beach. Rent a bycicle at the corner they have good bikes there and enjoy the island - the food is good, just moscitorepellent is a must - do not ignore risk of dengue and malaria on the gilis. Avoid renewing visa on lombok immigration, better choose Bali Singaraja, the... More

We had the plan of staying four nights here but ended up staying eight. We loved the island and the lush and friendly atmosphere of this place. The staff is social and they serve a nice breakfast with a smile. There even is a little variety in the breakfast. Also the mini markt and book store are very convenient. The... More

My daughter and I arrived on Gili Air in the late afternoon and booked a bungalow at Banana Cottages with the intention of staying 3 or 4 nights. The setting was nice, and seemed quiet as it was a short walk off the main road. However, around dinnertime, hammering, etc. began right next to our cottage, where apparently there was... More

We had a great time at banana cottages. The cottage was clean and nice, all for a good price. The staff was just great, especially when you put in some effort for short social talks. One day we got back, finding two swans (towells) with a heart (flowers). Great Surprise guys!

A little tricky to find the first time as its 30m off the main circumference, but once you arrive its a treat. Great staff, helpful and friendly. Lush surroundings, a great restaurant, and snorkel hire, and mini-mart.

We're two backpackers from Sweden, heading to Gili A for some diving and relaxing. Just randomly stumbled across Banana and we just fell in love! The staff was very helpful with everything from cleaning, transfer and washing. They even made us popcorn one night! It's a great location if you wanna stay at a cozy and calm place. Just a... More

My partner and I stayed in one of the non-AC cottages which was well equipped and overall impressive. A king size comfortable bed, fans, storage space, and an outdoor bathroom which was the selling point. The location of the cottages was set back off the main path along the beach which provided some peace and quiet, not to mention the... More

Lovely and very clean bungalows. All come with a little front area and a hammock. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff is super nice. Wifi works perfectly even in the rooms. About 30 seconds walk to the beach and one of the best snorkeling spots on Gili Air. Spent a week there in total and loved it. You can... More

I had booked my stay at another property down the road as its reviews were so good. Unfortunately it didn't live up to them for me. I found Banana Cottages quiet by accident and I could now be happier. The staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The bungalow style cottages are spacious. Very clean with a semi open air...
