Just had a fantastic meal at Mola’s. The ambience was romantic with the table on the beach with our very own little canopy. The meal was superb and our waiter was very attentive and friendly. They adapted our meal to our needs we can’t praise them high enough.
We stayed here as an extended family ranging in age from twelve months to 74 years of age. The price of the accommodation was not cheap and we don't believe that we received good value for the money we paid, so much so that we left after three nights and booked into another Hotel on the island which was cheaper than what we paid for Mola2 and provided us with great value for money. The biggest problem with the hotel is that there is very little care for comfort of guests. The time we were travelling it was very hot and the air conditioners in the rooms offered no relief from the heat. The pool likewise was so hot it was uncomfortable to swim in so even though we love visiting hot countries there was no ability to cool down anywhere at the hotel. We asked for a fan for our room and they didn't have one. We were entitled to free drinks while we were staying at the hotel but the process to get said free drinks was so difficult that they did not eventuate. If you are a young backpacker looking to come to Gili Air to party this is probably not a bad option - although once again the price is not cheap. If you are a family who want to enjoy the peace and beauty and be able to relax - please think again.…
Start to finish had a really good stay here, staff were very friendly when checking in and were very helpful throughout our stay. The room was very spacious and off good size, it is over 2 floors with bedroom at the top and bathroom downstairs. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, the bathroom is a outdoor bathroom but private. There is a porch u front which we used to chill in evenings, most people do which is nice if you have good neighbours. Ate in the restaurant the food was good, seafood option is good. The resort is on the beach, has a small pool to relax in, other restaurants close by, you hire bikes locally and shop close by. I would definitely stay here again. Happy Travels.
Staffs were incredibly nice! Service was exceent. The hotel itself is nice and clean and within a good range of price for such a quality. Hotel located right infront of a clean beach so we can enjoy a beautiful breakfast with a view. Good job Mola! Love it a lot!

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Gili Air. The place is absolutely fantastic, moreso the amazing staff. Umar in particular looked after us soooooo well and made us feel so welcome. We will miss him very much. This is such a great place to stay for couples, families and anyone else! We didn't want to leave and would've extended our stay on this amazing island if we had the time. Can't wait to come back 😊
It is situated on the very crowded street - just on the way, close to the very noisy disco - wall to wall, toilet is on the open air and air condition is not enough to chill the room at day time. You can not rest their at all.
We had a great time at Mola2- the rooms are spacious and clean, the location is great and the staff is friendly. All was good until.. they lost our laundry. For two days they couldn’t it and ten minutes before our departure they brought us the someone else’s bag. Nothing that can’t happen but when we asked the hotel for compensation ( due to the fact that we were left without clean cloths and had to purchase new ones for the remains of our holiday) the hotel manager told us that any compensation will come out of the employees salary due to their ‘mistake’. Now.. we do believe that we’re entitled to a compensation ( all we ask for is to reimburse us for the cloths we had to buy- not a lot!) and for the hotel to send us our cloths ( which they finally found), but we cannot accept that such compensation should be taken out of the pockets of those who earn so little.. For this approach we have decided to write this post and to protest, as we can not recommend to anyone to stay in a hotel which management behaves like this.…
My friends, a group of 20 people visited Mola2 Resort on a day trip this December. We did not stay in the rooms, but seeing their excellent service at the restaurant and beach as well as their premises at the pool, convinced me that room staying will be same excellent. It was a pre-arranged buffett and games at the area for our company. Food was awesome, cleanliness was perfect, and on the top of it, presence with smiles from all staffs made the day! Manager Yanto and his team, Chef Prap, Natasha, Merita, Edi the technician never stopped being around to ensure our participants got everything. Personally, my family and I will definitely come back and stay again at Mola2 Resort. Kids pool was also perfect for family stay. Highly recommended.! Thank you Mola2 Resort.
Mola2 took care about me and my daughter in a really good way, Natasya and her friends in the staff did a good job making our visit to the best. I recommend Mola2 for the hospitality and the fantastic sunset.
