This is really a place that gives you exactly what you see on the internet and also expect. We were so happy to find this little gem of hotel in Gili Air. The walk from the harbour to the hotel is about 12 minutes, and it was very easy to find. The norwegian hotel manager girl was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us loads of recommendations and helped us with our questions. The rooms are amazing, spacious and very clean! The beds are super comfy and the walls were actually thick enough to have some quiet, not like the previous hotels we stayed in in Bali... The breakfast was good, fresh juices made according your actual mood, the portions could have been bigger but its fine. The pool was nice a clean and we could swim even at night if we wanted to. We enjoyed our new years eve on the island and got to stay indoor on the first day of the year as it was pouring down outside, but we loved every minute of it. It was just super relaxing! thank you and wish you all the best, hope to visit again one day :)

Stayed here for a few nights in 2018. The resort is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We loved the outdoor bathrooms and the pool area. The staff were so lovely and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast was freshly cooked to our request and delicious. The location is also great, nice peaceful area and a short walk to the beach for great snorkeling. The we rented bikes from the resort for a really cheap price so we could explore the island. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

It's already the second time that we come to Gili Air Escape and we love it so much ! The place is charming and the bungalows are very cute with nice design. We particulary love this place because it's like an oasis, the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is very profesionnal and friendly. We specially loved the tropical bowl at the breakfast ... yummy ! We hope that we can come back there again !

Nice cabins, a bit simple and shower in open air Nice staff Breakfast ok A little remote from the “center” of town WiFi was very very bad connection, to almost non existing. Also checked on other parts of the island. Loud music untill 01 o clock in the night Locals speaking and being noisy untill very late The area is clean and nice, but outside its dirty and poor maintained. Pool is small but ok Bicycle rental, a good feature. But, poor maintained and bad roads on the island in general.

We had an excellent time at Gili Air Escape - the rooms are really clean, the pool is lovely and the staff can’t do enough to help you out. From organising a birthday cake for my boyfriend to sorting out an amazing private snorkelling trip to see the turtles, the staff were all ace. Our only negative point would be the bungalows aren’t particularly sound proof so you can hear quite a bit between the bungalows, but easily solvable with ear plugs. Great location and a thoroughly relaxing stay :)

Stayed for seven nights in July, and had a very good experience. The manager and staff are super friendly and helpful, and give great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The private bungalow is spacious with good air condition. The bungalow was clean, but the bathroom (and sometimes even the bedroom) had a lot of ants and cockroaches - probably due to the hole in the ceiling over the shower. Not very pleasant. The breakfast included many tasty options, and a big plus that you can have it served on the private terrace outside the bungalow. The hotel is located kind of in the middle of the island, but with the rented bikes from the hotel it’s easy to get around. Being on such a small island the distance is not a problem. Remember to bring good earplugs as the mosque has very loud speakers from early morning to late night.

From the moment you step into the resort I felt totally relaxed. The stunning pool in the middle of the 6 rooms is so crystal clear you may never venture out. The rooms are amazing and clean. Open outdoor bathrooms / shower to enjoy looking at the stars at night. I loved the individual balcony to relax and read enjoy the little oasis that is Gili Air Escape. The staff ensure your well equipped with a map of the island and where you can eat find turtles to snorkel with or trips you may want to take. Your able to hire bikes to get about the island and the torches in the rooms help light up the paths after dark. Breakfast is a dream with a choice of tropical bowls, fruit and omelets cooked to order. I’ve stayed at other private beach villas on the island. But I’d Highly recommend to stay here. A more personal service and higher quality accommodation overall.

We loved our stay in Gili Air Escape. The rooms are individual spacious bungalow-pods which are very unique, with a gorgeous outdoor bathroom. The pool area was quiet and very pretty, and it was a 5-10 minute walk up to the north coast of Gili Air to access the nicest part of the island (in our opinion - quieter, better restaurants and the best sunset views!) The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Overall we’d definitely stay here again.

Great stay!!! We stayed for a total of three nights in Gili Air Escape! The staff was so kind, thanks to Sapr Wadi and Ahmed Walker! They made our stay so good. They arranged everything for us, from snorkling trips to transport. Also, it was possible to rent bikes. The breakfasts were very simple but very tasteful and healthy!! Everthing was just right about this place. We definitely recommend this place! Kind regards, ruben and yasmina
