La Favela is a newly renovated Hostel located in Gili Trawangan, only 496 meters or 6 minutes walk from the beach and harbour. Theses large, bright and colourful rooms with air-con have been stylishly decorated with locally sourced materials by it's South American owners. La Favela is bright, colourful and unique - just like life on Gili Trawangan! The rooms comes with air-con, king size bed, fresh water (not hot nor cold - you'll be happy to cool down after a day in the gili sun), an en-suite open or closed roof shower, some rooms have a little terrace decorated with hand made tiles!!! and tropical plants and flowers. La Favela counts with a nice refreshing swimming pool and lounge area, also a tropical bar where you can buy juices, mojitos, beers and all sort of drinks.

Last Friday night was our first time in La Favela in a while. We were a group of 5 girls and 2 guys. And the guys forgot they couldn't wear slippers. Andreas the Door Manager politely explained to us of the house rules. And he was more than happy to escort us to someone who sells shoes really cheap. It was a blessing for us coz if he had turned us around, that would mean we had driven all the way from Uluwatu for nothing. Thanks for the hospitality Andreas.

We were a group of 5 cabin crews who had 2 nights in Bali. Wasn't sure if La Favela was open on Sunday night. Went there and luckily it was a slow night. We were greeted by Andreas the Door Manager who said we had some crowds inside, and he managed to convice us on the spot it's better to get a table instead of standing around the bar. At the end of the night, some of my friends got lucky. Thanks for the upselling Bud. Will definitely come back the next time we are in town.

La favela is awesome. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I feel like I'm friends with everyone. The vibe is nice and chilled so it's not a party hostel, but it's still social. They try to get everyone to do cool things together. You get free breakfast every morning, which is yummy! There's a pool and and a bar and food.... I Would recommend it for anyone.

La Favela is located in the heart of Gili T, so you will feel right away like you're part of local life. The staff with their colorful shirts are super friendly and made me feel truly welcome. The rooms are clean and bright and the breakfast (included) was a deliciius surprise. I definitely recommend staying here!

We were extremely happy with our stay here, the hostel is quiet which is good for chilled evenings and a few drinks after dinner. We were provided with our own room for the duration of our stay, which was exceptionally clean. The staff were amazing, in particular the main receptionist and bartender. They were always around and happy to help us. On one evening I fell over and cut my leg, the staff were on hand with first aid experience. The hostel rescues cats which I think is a lovely touch. 100% would recommend! Great work guys

Great hostel! Rooms are very clean and have very good air con along with a hammock area outside which is nice to chill out, breakfast is included which keeps costs down and staff are so friendly and will go out of the way to help you would deffinaltey stay here again. Pool area is also great!

Loved our stay here. The staff was always smiling and made our time here the best! Quite at night and nice vibe at the hostel. Amazing burgers at the barberque and nice pool area! If I’ll come back to Gili t I would choose la favela again 🤙

Amazing vibe and very relaxing, exquisite attention to detail in every aspect! Truly an experience in itself to visit this place (visited at night). Service was also exceptional! Patu (our server) was amazing and attentive, best service in bali! We enjoyed every part of our experience to this place and would 100% recommend, been to Bali on multiple occasions and am very glad we found this place, please go!
