Best hotel on Gili T

Loved this location and the view. Restaurant is amazing too. I highly recommend and if you can upgrade, go for it! The wifi is ok but as expected being on the island. The best wasn’t that soft but it was clean and I expected it to not be super luxurious bc that’s not the vibe but the room was so clean and well kept. The entire hotel was just beautiful and had a great pool as well as beach area. And the location is awesome

Not worth the money!!!

We visited this hotel and aesthetically it looked very nice and it was right on the beachfront which was good. However, when we got to our hotel room it was so small that we couldn’t walk through the room when our suitcases were out making it very difficult to access the bathroom and to just live in the room. Further to this, the facilities had said bedside plug sockets however there was only a plug on one side and no bedside table on the other. Our door handle completely snapped off and the Wi-Fi was terrible. Lastly, our phone to speak to reception, housekeeping etc, didn’t work and was so crackly we couldn’t hear anything they were saying! It was definitely overpriced considering these issues. Most of the staff were very friendly and did the most to help us. But when we went to speak to reception about our issues we were turned away with no apology or any acknowledgment of our problems (just attitude from the supposed manager!). We were told if we wanted a bigger room we could pay 1 million idr extra a night!!! We weren’t even offered a free drink or meal as compensation for our issues😬 I won’t be returning!!…

Won’t be disappointed

Really, really good. The food, drinks selection so good and the staff are so very kind and attentive in a lovely way. Breakfast from the roof restaurant is a dream in itself. Poached eggs and as many fresh fruit drinks as you can manage.The sunrise from the room balcony !! Then the pool has its own waterfall perfect for dreamy days when not exploring. Quite a cool crowd. Norway,Netherlands, Swedish and the odd Brit.

Left after the starter

left part way through the meal. We waited 1 hour 20mins for tom yam rice and a burger. We asked to see the manager who was in lombok (on a friday night ?) Tables were left uncleaned. They have spent a lot of money putting this together in a great location, but the service and organisation is just shocking.

Bully and agressive general manager

The food was great. Waiters were nice and helpful. But after a lunch I have mentioned a nice view nearby so I took my drone, walk a bit from restoraunt to not annoy someone and did a few shots from 100 meters height. It was extremely hot so i came back to sit near security guys in the shadow for a few minutes. And thats when magic starts - some agressive idiot (which is as local people said was general manager)with strong french accent attack me, yell at me that im violating some “security policies”. After i appologise and try to explain that i was not aware this idiot proceed with yelling at me. When I told that i didnt do a pictures of people and can show him materials and actually people are 1millimiter size from this height and are not visible this guy proceed yelling at me. I feel really weird about it. Please explain to me how should i know about your policies and is it a politics of your place to yell and attack customers? Also may I know how does my picture (watch the attached photo)violates your rules and how much customers do you see there?…

Dear Taras, Upon checkin with our team, drone was found flying above our property surround our suite room and villa, some our room has open bathroom, the picture you share was on the beach which is fine its public spot, we have security policies to not allow inhouse guest or outsider to playing drone above our property ( our housekeeping staff saw drone flying above when he was side our pool and deluxe room ) we figure out you were not our in house guest that is why you not get explanation about the policies, one of our partner i believe you talk to just want you to stop the drone the conversation just 10 to 15 seconds about to shut the drone playing above our property we keep our guest privacy, We have reception available to complain if you not like to security policies Just short tips, each tourism area mostly not allowed drone inside the property perhaps you should ask permition or figure our which is free / public you can play the drone Thank you and have a nice day Regards Vicky Hanoi
