So basically i was directed to this place by a friend. It was an amazing choice! The rooms are clean and get cleand everyday! Staff is great, speaking very good english, helpfull and also go out for an outing with guests sometimes. Food is also very good especially the wood fire pizza available daily. Common pool area is where all the entertaing goes on and its very easy to make new friends especially if ure solo! Owners are very helpfull aswell and offer many of the activities which happen on the island.

As we stayed in the hostel room for the few nights we were there, we cannot comment on the quality of the private rooms - which certainly look lovely from the outside and the photos. I have to say that the dinner menu was quite plain as they seem to alternate between pizza and burger nights, so no healthy option is available and in most cases you'll be better off dining elsewhere. Breakfast, sadly was just as disappointing, as even though breakfast is 'included' - you won't learn until it's too late that this consists solely of a glass of juice and two slices of toast. For a decent meal (that you might expect from most villas and B&B's on Gili T offering 'Included Breakfast'), you would be looking at spending around 70-100K IDR (£4.00-5.50) at Jati Village - which is honestly tragic. The pool is nothing to brag about although it's a nice area for sunbathing or chilling. By standard they have a different event each day/night which is advertised on the bar which is located in the central area. It's very varied and entails activities such as a hill walk and snorkeling around the three Gili islands (an all day event). Please NB however that this also includes Beer Pong. Which surely would be fantastic if you're into that sort of thing - but don't expect to get any sleep or work done if you are trying to relax in your room. The owners get involved and might be completely oblivious to the loudness they are encouraging. This is not something that is made known in their advertising material, including booking.com. Saying that, the staff seemed quite friendly and helpful, and were happy to let me loiter in the area after checking out whilst I waited for my girlfriend to finish work. Personally I would not stay here again, but if you like to drink and party then you may enjoy it more than we did.

The pool and common area were the best parts of the cozy villa Lembongan. Coffee, tea and juice were free. In the evening games were organised by the staff for the guests and you can party there till late. The staff was very nice and friendly. And i loved the pizza. If you are not staying there l, do pay a visit to enjoy the pizza, it was the best one i tried on the island. But the thing which need to be improved is the rooms and service. The A/C remote was not working when we reached. And it look a while to the staff to figure out and give us another remote and the A/C was leaking too. The washrooms flush was also not working properly and we didn’t get any towels or toiletries. So that was disappointing. The location was great as the island is really small, so it doesn’t really matter where you stay, you can just walk from anywhere to the main market near the coast. I would recommend this place for solo travellers and party lovers. You can make friends and chill in the common area.

Arrived here with friends recently. We booked via booking.com which told us when booking that the money would come out of our account when we checked in. Nope, we had to pay with cash upfront which was frustrating. Then we were allowed early check-in which was good until they gave us the wrong room. We had booked for a triple bungalow room with terrace, instead they gave us a budget triple room which was nowhere near the standard we expected. They moved us once we made this issue clear to them. Pros: - close to beach and restaurants - friendly staff (french speaking) - rooms cleaned everyday Cons: - right near the mosque so very noisy throughout the night, got no sleep - not suitable for couples/families/friends who want a quiet and chilled stay, partying and loud music until 11pm and cockerels waking you up from 3am onwards... - staff put us in the wrong room initially - water pressure in bathroom is awful, spurts out at you - flush would not work, had to get staff to help numerous times which was awful - lighting in room very dark - plugs in stupid places - bikes that are available to rent are either broken or dangerous to ride (broken pedals, baskets, chain constantly falling off, stuck in one gear) - road back to hotel is very dark so makes it hard to walk/cycle back - Very limited complementary breakfast, either a pancake or toast - no options for gluten free that are included (e.g. no eggs or fruit)

Nice place off the beaten track. staff were friendly and it was well designed! We had a lovely bungalow and the pool was a lovely area to chill. Very clean. However we did have a few issues: the shower was cold, there were cracks in the ceilings and the lighting was dim. Also one night we had cocktails and the bar tender was clueless and clearly had not been trained! Overall a nice stay but there is room for improvement.

We were welcomed by lovely staff, friendly cats and the cutest little otter! Family bunglow suited us well, wifi fast (essential for teenagers) and barman Yan kept us entertained with card tricks and espresso martini's. Great location away from the crowds and beanbags by the pool. The addition of fans in the bar/restaurant would be a welcome relief from the heat. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

We spent 4 nights here and very much enjoyed the hospitality afforded by the staff and the tranquility away from the main drag. At the back of the village, it is abit of a walk to 'town' but the advantage is that it is quiet and uncomplicated. We stayed in a family villa ( aircon, no hot water ) very clean and quite modern - I suspect that the business model however is tending toward a more back packer friendly perspective. The staff were happy and accommodating - cheers to Bargong Yan - fabulous magician, Gecko removalist and Barman - good luck to you in the future. A wonderful young man with a big future. Other positives Clean pool with nice surrounds and gardens Bike rental and some good advice Cute cats and a very very cute 'rescue otter' Brekky of pancake, eggs or toast and spreads and fresh juice included. Tres Bon!

I had such a nice time here. The ladies are lovely, there is a rescue otter! Cats, friendly staff, good food, drink specials, bike rentals, etc. They are more than happy to make friends with you, help you figure out your stay, arrange for bikes or taxis or boats. I had hurt my knee and they went out of their way to upgrade me to an easier place and checked in on me. The pool is nice and I easily made friends with other people staying there. It's not too difficult to find and there are plenty of places around to eat at or pick up goods. I liked being off the beaten track and away from constant noise. Recommend!

Jati Village is located at the back of main village about 8minute walk. The staff are helpful and courteous. We stayed in the 2 level villa having the ground floor room, nice space good outside sitting area, on downside with just a wooden floor the for the above room once the guest started to party you heard everything and with our own squeaky bed it was a restless night. Common theme through small villa in Indonesia is the breakfast, it lacks taste, quality and presentation. With Jati Village building more hostel style rooms it is becoming backpackers hostel not suitable for couples and families as the low end accommodation attracts all night parties.
