I wanted to propose my girlfriend. I had the idea to do it on a swing on Gili Trawangan. Normaly there where many swings but now most of them where broken. I searched for a swing. I saw that this hotel has one of the beuatifulest double swing. I talked with the manager. It was a verry nice and understanding man. In one day he and his team arranged the swing and a romantic table so i could propose my girlfriend on a romantic way. We are so happy and thankfull. Next time we will book oure stay here. The food was delicous. We recomand this place to everybody.

We stayed at Villa Almarik and had an incredible time. The location could not have been better as it is located on the main road just steps to the beach where you can lounge on the beach chairs, snorkel with turtles (turtle point is an accurate name as we saw at least 10 turtles every day!), and have romantic beach dinners. The staff were really nice and very attentive. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! AC was strong, there were umbrellas available for use, bath robes, an easy to use safe, toiletries, in room coffee/tea/water with a mini-fridge, and beach towels! The pool was large and very clean and was great to hangout in with the beach as the backdrop. Lovely place would really recommend if you come to Gili T!

We just didn’t want to leave! We extended our stay to nearly 3 weeks here. This is a beautiful gem on Gili T. The staff are incredible... you become part of the family. It’s barefoot luxury at its best! Every attention to detail is taken care of. Located right next to a pristine stretch of beach, within a few steps into the clear water are turtles swimming around going about their business. All in all, we’ll never forget our stay here. The gorgeous food, the super comfortable rooms, the wonderful team, all in an idyllic little setting. It’s paradise found.

Myself and my partner stayed her for 3 nights and was very nice, all the staff very welcoming and helpful. During my stay was my birthday and the hotel went out of there way to make it special. We had a lovely romantic meal on the beach, the decorations were amazing and I was truly amazed with the effort they went to. The food in the restaurant was very nice best we had on the island, even made me my own birthday cake! The staff were exceptional and went out of there way to do anything they could for you, truly enjoyed the experience here and will hopefully be back again.

Absolutely great location!! We stayed for 5 nights - we had an issue with the air conditioning the first day - but the staff was very responsive and quick to offer an upgrade. We stayed in our original room (they fixed the AC) and really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great eggs cooked to order and also a waffle station a-one breakfast. The absolutely best thing about this hotel is you walk across the street and can snorkel and see the best fish and turtles around!!! Will stay here again due to the staff being so great and the location for snorkeling being amazing!

Villa Almarik is one of the best managed boutique resorts in Indonesia! The staff is very well trained, polite, kind and always willing to serve. The rooms are very large, clean and beautifully maintained. The grounds are well landscaped and impeccably clean including the beach. One can swim, or snorkel to see the many colourful fish, turtles and coral, right in front of the resort...steps away from one’s room. The bottom is not soft sand due to the dead coral, but one has no difficulty swimming past it. You can bike (2 hrs) around the island, walk if you are up to it, shop at the night market, visit the numerous bars and eateries, or just enjoy the beauty of Gili T. Villa Almarek is a quiet resort filled with special attention to detail and a vibrant caring staff. We chose to eat at the resort because the chef and his staff produced excellent meals. One of the many beautiful traditions is tea time at 4:00 with local delicacies provided. This location is also close to other islands to explore including Lombok! The view from the beach is beautiful as you can see Majestic Mount Rinjani when the clouds clear. Just an amazing place to stay, and they care equally for all guests! A charming hotel right on the beach - a little bit from the "noice part" of Trawanga! Really enjoyed our stay here, clean, charming and a family feeling over the hotel. Villa Almarik is on the quiet side up North away from the port where you land. It is right on the beach and the lounger chairs and towels are included so its easy to go to beach quickly. Staff are exceptional and the hotel is kept very clean. Very friendly and always ready to answer your questions. Rahma even went out of her way to get us tempe when we mentioned that we could not find Indonesian food as all the restaurants on the island are mostly Western. She was a joy and gave us information on where to go on Lombok. They had afternoon tea and desserts everyday at 4pm and this was a treat as it was local dishes, very nice! Our villa was very spacious and clean. However there is not much privacy as all the curtains are sheer. The bathroom has all glass and sheer curtain so if they would fix this it would be better. All in all a very nice hotel though its a bit of a walk from the landing point its definitely worth it to stay here if you are going to Gili Trawangan!…

Second stay at this hotel and we are absolutely in love! The location is really the best on the island, calm at night and very close to the nightlife. But the best thing, the beach is just outside and it’s clean and beautiful. Breakfast is great and the food at the restaurant is amazing. Staff is incredible friendly and helpful, absolutely blown away about the staff, always smiling, talking to you, seeing you and being glad, I hurt my leg during a bike ride and they did everything to help me with it.
