We took 1 bedroom private villa with pool, ants and spiders crawling all over the floor. This is the cleanliness of a five star hotel. I am vegetarian and I strictly ordered for only vegan food, the staff said noodles will be veg, however, i got chicken sausage in my plate. On enquiring, they said it is vegan. On again asking what food is it, they said sausage. When I asked is it chicken sausage, they said only sausage in the plate is non veg rest all is vegan. How can they serve a vegetarian customer with non veg food! Then i sought for replacement at 10.30 am which didnt come for another 1.5 hours until 12. I think they even gave the same plate again just removing the sausages. Not recommended for vegetarian people. Better you stay in aston villa. Would rate in negative. Posting pictures for reference.…
I stayed here just before the start of the COVID outbreak as on overnight trip from Seminyak to see the Gili Islands. As no vechicles on this island we travelled to the hotel by horse and cart which was a lovely scenic journey along the coast and the strip. It was one of the hotels furthest away and about 20-30 mins walk away from the strip which we found difficult when coming back late at night a little drunk when the horses had stopped running. Check-in was quick & easy in a large building with open sides and our bags were taken to our room which was set like streets of individual bungalows. Outside each room was sunloungers with a coffee table. A big ornate wooden door led to the spacious room that had a King size bed with bedside tables with squared shelving and lamps on either side. There was also a built in wardrobe with slippers & a safe in, 2 armchairs with a coffee table, a flat-screen TV on a cupboard with side shelving, a desk with chair that had water and tea/coffee facility on top and a fridge at the side, 1 large mirror, 1 small circular mirror and a free-standing lamp The Bathroom was ouside like all the bathrooms in Bali I came across. There was a single sink with a cupboard underneath and a mirror above with square unit shelves either side. Opposite was another squared unit and behind it was the shower. There was a massive swimming pool with 2 small pools and a jacuzzi, loads of sunloungers with parasols and a bar at the end that made great cocktails and provided beach towels. Behind the bar was the restaurant and at the other end of the pools was an outdoor seating area The beach is across the road and also has lots of sunloungers, parasols, a couple of swings in the sea which was great to watch the sunset from and take photos. They also had an big screen cinema on the beach. The restaurant was massive with ground, upper level and outside section with lots of seating areas of tables for up to 6 people. Breakfast was served in buffet style with cereals, cold and hot foods available.…
Everything is perfect .... I love the atmosphere, and the people... But you should give more concern to the food, cause this hotel are to far from everywhere... Overall this hotel is good 👍👍 The staff is friendly and helpfull,i like the way they treat us as friends
The Gili Islands are a must for anyone visiting Indonesia. It's a great getaway from all the noise and pollution of cities. The room I had at this hotel was very good, even though I felt that the price was more that it deserved. I liked the outdoor bath, the restaurant, the pool and the beach across the road from the hotel ... I spent a very nice time watching sunset o my first day there. As with many hotels on the island, bikes are available for rent @50K Rupiah/day
We enjoyed our stay at Ombak Sunset for our honeymoon. The room was clean but the outdoor toilets can welcome strange creatures (however the staff are helpful in getting rid of these!) The food and drinks were great and can be enjoyed on a great spot on the beach.
Very beautiful, very good room and good spa services. Bad WiFi (most of the times it doesn’t work), bad organisation for lunch and dinner. If we were to visit GiliT again we would try another hotel.kr
The room was spacious and beautiful. The bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable. We appreciated the coffee. The outdoor shower was super cool. The breakfast was really the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel. They really need to do something about the quality of the food. The hotel itself is very far from anything so you have no choice but to cycle. We couldn’t cycle anywhere as it decided to rain lol The beach in front of the hotel is pretty awesome. It’s lovely to watch the sun set there except that last night we couldn’t see the sun behind the clouds lol It wasn’t bad but I believe that it will be better to book somewhere closer to where the life is.
We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas. The room provided was lovely & spacious with a beautiful bathroom and even better outdoor area including plunge pool. Location is ever so slightly out of the main area of bars, restaurants etc but is very easy to get around so this wasn’t a problem. The beach is right in front of the hotel with the famous swings, sand is not great here you need to go further around the island for better. Pool is beautiful although there were long waits for drinks and at points we were the only ones there. Outside cinema on the beach is a nice touch. Staff are very lovely & helpful but unfortunately there isn’t anywhere near enough of them which regrettably resulted in long waits for food to arrive, we did actually leave on one occasion having waited for an hour & half for our mains for them to arrive wrong. We understand mistakes can happen but there was only one other table of 6 (2 of us), when asked what was causing the delays the waiter replied that there were a lot of room service orders?! The hotel is being refurbished (which we weren’t aware of at the time of booking) so the kitchen facilities from what we could see weren’t the best. The food that we did have was nice although we would’ve liked to have seen more choice at breakfast.…
They have the best sunset view on the island! This has to be the BEST hotel on Gili T! We had room 311 which had its own private pool and outdoor sitting area with a refrigerator and table as well as lounge chairs! The room was huge with a very nice and spacious bathroom! I highly recommend this hotel on Gili T!
Stayed there for one night. Staffs were helpful. check in and out was not a problem. meal in hotel was below average. nice sunset view. room was cold. But cleanliness at the back shower area was not clean. Seems very old and poor maintenance.
