A picturesque hostel in paradise, with super friendly staff that are available to help at any time. Comfy beds I stayed in a mixed dorm at the back and a 6 bd dorm - all were comfy and had mosquito nets. Staff let you know activities that are on around the island that day, there is an onsite bar - closes at 11pm, fire pit on the beach, banana pancakes for breakfast, lots of space to get creative and arty, literally on the beach front with the best views for sunrise. Composting toilets, plastic free, filtered drinkable water, wifi, close to many tasty warungs. Mini lockers in rooms - bring your own padlock, however I always felt safe and nothing was ever taken. Hammocks and bean bags everywhere to use. can get laundry done onsite. The only downside was that my visa came to an end and I had to leave... I will definitely return.…
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights, and will definitely come back again. We stayed in the top level of the bamboo house/ treehouse, and loved it. The vibe was very social, and we felt very comfortable with the people and staff. There is excellent snorkelling in front of the hostel. There are lots of hammocks and places to kick back and relax. The toilets are composting toilets, so if you like a clinically sterile looking toilet, maybe this isn’t for you. but they are clean and user friendly.
We loved the place and Gili Meno in general. It is a sustainable, sweet treehouse-like hostel with fun people around. The only thing we did not like was the staff, they seemed very uncoordinated. They were just lying around all the time and when you needed something they jumped. We did a cleanup, and on the way the receptionist smoked two cigarettes, leaving the butts in the woods - a little ironically. But the fact that they advertise it and give guests the chance to participate is awesome! All in all I loved it at eco hostel!
I stayed 4 days and had an amazing time! Very sociable environment, all ecofriendly! It's by the beach and if you swimm in front you'll see turtles!! It's just so beautiful! If you're looking for a relaxed laid back place in a paradise island, this is it! Oh! and the bamboo shacks are the safest place you can possibly sleep! During last year erathquake they woobled but stayed up! On the contrary of many other concrete accomodation you may find...reduced to rubble. So it's ecofriendly, peaceful, sociable, in a paradise location...what more can you ask? Oh! and the all beds in dorms have nets so you get the best bugs free sleep!
I spent here three weeks instead of the original two days! This hostel is one of the best I've ever visited. Love the vibe and also the staff is incredible! They made everyone feel like at home. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect right next to the beach. With I could go back here!
