We had a fantastic time in Gili Meno and or accommodation was great... Very very good for money. Debby Bungalows is in a very quiet place and the locations is perfect. Our bungalow had A/C and the price include a small breakfast but perfect for start the day in the Island. Totally recommend the Island as a good and relax place to scape.

Debby's guesthouse was the worst experience of my trip to Indonesia. With the lady who owns the hotel we agreed that we stay for two nights . We bargained and agreed to a certain price for 2 nights. In the morning, when the lady brought us breakfast, she told me "you have to go now I have guests from booking". I was shocked and discussed with her that we are going to stay one more night. Apparently, she leaves her booking page open and allows people to book rooms even though she is full!! She gets 100,000Rp more from someone else and kicks out her guests! We decided to go and find another hotel and come back for our luggage. But she shouted at us "you must go in 10 minutes. Go" . I was shocked to death that an owner of a hotel can be so rude. We packed and left. We didn't want to pay. She and her husband cought us on the street yelling we have to pay. She was lying to our faces that we agreed to only one night. She threated that she will call police ( there is no proper police in Meno). We gave her husband the money. There is no point discussing with village people who have no manners. Avoid this place !!! Even if you have booking , the lady may come to you next morning and kick you out because she gets 5$ more from someone else.... She ruined my stay in Meno- don't let it happen to you. Find another place ! And enjoy cause this island is gorgeous

We paid a fair price and ended up staying for about 5 nights. There's not a great deal to do on the island but for a relaxed time, this place is great. Wifi worked on the first day but never again after that - we never asked for it to be fixed so I'm not holding that against the place. Breakfast was good each day, the room was clean and comfortable with a good mosquito net. Power was on for all the time that we stayed there and there was a very welcome addition of a fan in the room.

The hotel was the last one available on the island and we were forced to stay there as the other hotel hadnt kept the reservation. The bungalows behind the backpacker rooms rooms are new and look very nice, but when we arrived the toilet was still dirty with pee and other fecal traces left, the trash from the last customers was still in the bin and the sink was full of tooth paste. When we complained about that they first didnt do anything and the second time the old mother of the owner came and told us rudely we should stop complaining, that the bath was only 'little dirty' and that there were enough tourists to take the room so she wouldnt need us. Additional to this insolence the room was full with centipedes and too expensive. Avoid this place, there is so much better and friendlier accomodation on this beautiful island.
