We visited for 2 days at the end of our 2 week stay in Bali and Lombok and loved the location. We went out of season which meant we were the only guests. Staff were attentive, helpful and the food was good. Prices were very inexpensive. Air con was great, cold showers no issue as they were sun-warmed and it was hot, wi-fi worked well especially near the office and mosquito netting was a great addition. Located on a beach of white sand and crystal clear water. Turtles plentiful in the deeper water at the north of the island.
We passed the place and asked how much the coffee was. So because the price was quite good we stayed for a coffee. When we got the bill the price was suddenly 3x times higher plus additional 10% tax, which is usually included in the price in Indonesia. In total we almost payed 100.000 where normally you would pay maximum 45000 in other spots. Not a nice behavior towards visitors and tourist und I would definitely stay away from this place!
Very nice accommodation situated near a nice swimming beach and great snorkelling. Room and bathroom very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful but not outgoing. Food and prices reasonable. A short stroll to the harbour. I would stay here again
We loved our 3 night stay here and would definitely recommend it. Our room was spacious, characterful, comfortable, simple and functional - all that we needed it to be. Breakfast was really good, served either at the dining tables or at the low-level beach side tables with views of the sea. It was a beautiful and perfect start to each day. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The beach at the hotel was our favourite on the island, having conducted a lap of it all. It was quiet and clean, with soft white sand, and lovely waters to swim in and to watch the sun go down from. A wonderful place to stay.
We stoped here twice on our walk around the island and had decent pizza. They cook it in a wood fired oven so it does take a bit of time if you’re the first customer of the day. Pizza crust was thin and crunchy, which I love. Sauce lacked flavor, but that’s not surprisingly when you seek out western food on a small Indonesian island. Staff let us sit for hours afterwards enjoying the beach
we waited 1 hour for a pizza margherita while there was no others customers and the waiters were sitten doing absolutely nothing. Overprized and no lievitation on pizza dough. Almost no mozzarella no the pizza.
We are only rating the food because we are staying elsewhere. The pizzas are really good, they are made in the stone oven they got there just a few meters away(you can see it). Recommended if you like pizza!
We stopped here for lunch on a wander round the island, lovely setting! low tables with cushions overlooking the quiet beach. Food was good and the lemon iced teas. Service was good and quick although not the most cheerful we’ve had.
During our stay we didn’t meet the manager, it’s was the staff that just did their jobs. We planned to stay 2 night but made it only 1 as we found another place with more personal touch and eye for detail. A pity cause the place is on a gorgeous location! We did really enjoy our lunch, especially sitting out right on the beach.
Spent a few nights at Biru Menu. A sandy walk from the harbour. Would actually recommend taking the horse and cart. Worth it. Staff were friendly and expecting us. Settled into our room. Aircon struggled a bit, but island was very hot. Free snorkel and goggles available from reception. Can snorkel directly in front of room. Reef is a bit tired, but still worthwhile. Very pretty. The pizza was very good. There are a limited number of sea facing pergodas. A few of the guests were a bit rude and entitled and left articles of clothing overnight to reserve it for themselves for the next day. Might be an idea for staff to remove these. We eventually did.
