A very tranquil and peaceful getaway. Perfect for resting and beach life! There are 4 bungalows facing the white-sand beach (more towards the inside of the property). Mine was the smallest and cheapest one; my friend's was the newest one, really beautiful and more expensive too. Mine: mosquito net around the double bed, large bathroom (without a wash-sink), standing fan (no AC), a small cabinetry for clothes, one ceiling bulb, a balcony with a couch, a small table and a personal hammock... and that's it. Very rustic, but that's ok with me. I had to ask for my mattress to be changed after the first night. It was not in a good condition. Sometimes the fan wasn't needed. I enjoyed the cool ocean breeze and the mosquito nets on the windows, which need maintenance. Breakfast was good, the attention was not the best. The cottage was cleaned twice in our ten-days stay. They offer guided snorkeling tours (which is a must if you enjoy the ocean) and connection to other things to do in the island, such as horseback riding. The owner and his wife were very kind and welcoming! There is no drinking-water fountain and no WIFI in the premises, but the nearby warung (restaurant) offered both. We enjoyed our time in Gili Meno, it is a beautiful, peaceful and in-recovery island!!

Gili Meno is far more relaxed than the other Gilis and this is the perfect place to chill and enjoy the views. The staff are incredibly friendly and want to help you make the most of your stay on the island. We ignored advice and tried to swim out to see the turtles but you hit a wall of coral and the currents are very strong so get a boat and don’t make the same mistake we did. The accommodation is certainly not The Ritz but it is instead rugged enough to make you feel like you’re a million miles away from the big city. Also, the air conditioning is a godsend. If you are very fussy then maybe this isn’t the place for you but if you enjoy a downtempo, chilled out feel to a place then I would highly recommend it! Plus the coconut smoothies are THE BEST!

The first impression is good - the Bungalows are nice, the view is awesome and the breakfast is good. BUT! I broke my foot because of the bungalows terrace. The floor was so old and rotten that I broke in and my whole left leg was stuck til the sand. With the other foot I obviously wanted to catch my fall. I got lots of hamatomos on my leg and foot. My toes of the right foot were broken After my friends told the staff there were like „so...?“. They only replaced the two broken blanks. But the whole floor is in a very bad condition. But the staff didn’t want to hear about any of that. The best thing was, that when my friend went to the doctor, the boss told him „right this way... and there are other and CHEAPER hotels“. So they recommended us to leave instead of helping! Noboday Even thought about a „sorry“ or about asking how I felt. Of course no refund or anything. Never again! Life threatening place!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had one bungalow with sea view, I can only recommend it. The beach on gili meno is very nice, but right in front of the bungalows, you can find a nice beach, but not the best on the island. You can walk about 1-2 minutes and then you find the turtle beach, which is just amazing to see live turtles. The rooms were clean and very nice, great bed and the air-condition was working amazing. One of the staff members there was very helpful and friendly, I sadly don't know his name, but he had a bit longer hair. The rest was sadly not very helpful, so I always waited to ask him with any questions. The chief I didn't see in person, but on the phone he was very helpful, friendly and spoke good english. The only minus point I have, is that you can only choose 1 dish to eat and 1 drink for breakfast, it was not very much. I would have liked it more if I could have chosen 1 salty (like omlett) and 1 sweet or fruity dish. But the things we got were very tasty, but sadly small portions. If I come back to gili meno, I will for sure stay here again. Thank you!!

Booked via booking.com. On arrival discovered no WiFi and seaview room/view was below expectations. Window didn't close. We saw on our booking that we were able to cancel at no charge and select accommodation with WiFi, which was a necessity for business communication whilst holidaying. Spoke to staff and explained situation but they said we must stay until he called the manager. Spoke on phone with manager but he was agressive and shouted a lot, demanding we pay, despite free cancellation awarded to us by booking.com. The staff physically blocked our exit when trying to leave, and called some local hench men to join in the intimadation. Had no choice but to give them the money they demanded. Were left quite shaken by the experience.

Bungalow itself is ok. Room is big enough, bathroom as well and you have a "seating area" at the entrance to the bungalow. It is really just few meters away from the beach, where you can go for a swim or search for turtles, because this is the spot at Gili Meno, where everybody comes to look for turtles and snorkel for colourful fish. There is no wi-fi, so if you really need it , as we needed it due to Mt.Augung situation at the time of our visit, than you must look for wi-fi at some of bars in the neighbourhood. The Blue Coral Bungalows is some 15-20 minutes walk from the place, where the public boat picks up passangers to Gili Air or Gili Travangan. From there you can either walk or hire a horse carriage for 100.000 Rp to take you to Bungalow. Or you can hire a private boat from Travangan directly to the bungalow for a cost of 300.000 Rp. The whole impression of this place would have been better if the staff were a bit friendlier. They showed no interest....

Room Tip: I guess all bungalows are the same. We had the very first one in the row, so we could see the ocean.

Blue coral was a nice stay for 2 nights. It was the perfect place to relax, but after 9pm everyone goes to bed and there's nothing to do anymore. The bungalows where ok. Our frontyard was the beach where actually swim turtles. We had some troubles with the water pressure, but they fixed it twice for us. Breakfast was ok, more choice than the most hotels in gili.

The location is superb! We stayed in the bungalow with the ocean view and it was great. We were chilling out in a hammock watching the ocean. It is a very romantic place. There are different bungalows (only four or five have ocean view) with different quality. We were staying in the oldest (and cheapest – 3000K), because it was the only one left. I’m sure the quality of other bungalows is much higher.

Good: right on the beach, if you are lucky try to get the front facing units (were all rented when I arrived), fresh water in the shower, clean and well maintained. There are different bungalows grouped together and not sure which belong to blue coral and which to a another owner (check, the left ones only have sea water in the shower) Bad: no wifi, electricity problems, but worst - the owner was very unfriendly - when asked about breakfast received an angry reply that I do not get to have breakfast for what I pay! (the day before he gave me a discount due to low season). Fine, I then asked just for hot water and was told they don't have any... I asked at their restaurant behind and they said ok but wanted to charge me for HOT WATER (!) The most common thing in Asia - for the first time in 4 months I was asked to pay for hot water :/ This left very unpleasant aftertaste about this otherwise nice place. No need to treat people badly just because you give them a discount, kinda defies the purpose...
