Good clean rooms with TV and free Wi-Fi
No minibar or free tea/coffee.
No air conditioning or safe
Beds are a little basic however we both slept well
Close to the castle and about a 20minute walk into town.
The better rooms overlook the castle.
Breakfast was better than the reviews suggested with some hot food, omelette, sausages, porridge and pancakes, together with a choice of cold cuts
Bike hire available at 5 euros for 3 hours
Good quality budget hotel.

Reasonable stay at Hotel Staadioni.
The main advantage is it’s position - an easy 5 minutes walk to the beach, 8 minutes walk to the Episcopal palace and 10 minutes walk into town.
Rooms were on the first floor as was the breakfast restaurant.
Rooms were small but clean, bed comfortable and en suite shower room OK. No lift however, had to carry own luggage to room.
Breakfast was only adequate with very little fruit and poor coffee.

We stayed as part of a group tour. The room was reasonable size but the single beds were narrow - as one person described toy beds. I am slim person and nearly fell out the bed several times in the night just turning over! There was no mosquito net at the window so bitten a lot, had to have window open as no air con. Bathroom ok - no hairdryer and minimal toiletries. Breakfast okayish. Whole place reminded me of dormitory / camp to send kids.
One bonus good location for castle and stadium.

Overall, I liked this establishment. (But then I prefer small country-style family run accommodation.)
My room was large, airy and had a lovely outlook over a park with the castle in the background. It was lovely and quiet. Plenty of hot water. Good lighting for reading. The owner was helpful and proved to be an excellent guide the following day.
Two negatives: the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were way too short and didn't tuck in. The breakfast would have been rated good if there had been some fruit. Downside is that they offer no other food, and the nearest restaurant is a 20 minute walk away!

A hotel/hostel situated about 15 min walk from town and quite close to the castle. The beds are very small (almost like cots) which are narrow and short (not long enough for anyone nearing 6ft tall, they are also very soft mattresses.
Bathroom is modern but showers in some rooms do not drain properly and lead to flooding.
The manager Jaan is very helpful (and double as a local tour guide) and speaks many languages.
The hotel is situated at the end of the main road and is literally on top of the athletic stadium and opposite the tennis club and almost feels like it was built to house athletes on training rather than tourists.
There were some very noisy guests staying and also some younger persons in the nearby park who kept guests awake until almost 1am
Breakfast is adequate, typical continental with bread, cheese, meat etc;
Wi-fi was quite good on the ground floor
I would not value this as 3* but for a couple of nights at a cheap price it is OK

We spent 2 nights in this budget hotel on the island of Saaremaa as part of a 2 week trip in the Baltics. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious and we had a lovely view of the castle and park. There are balconies where you can sit out and enjoy any sun with a drink. The owner doubled as our guide the following day and was very welcoming and helpful. My only negative comment would be that the breakfast needed some fruit,

I loved that my room had a view of the castle, Bishop's Palace, a medieval castle. The hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk out of town and right next to a sports ground and the water. Saw birds by the shoreline and not far from a swimming area. I liked the location. Rooms were clean and fairly spacious though a little dated. As with most hotels in the area, no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but you can get a cuppa at reception for one euro.

A delightful fresh bedroom just like the photo. However, they were digging up in front and behind the hotel so it was hardly scenic or peaceful! Breakfast was limited with minimal choice. Staff very helpful but not particularly friendly.

This quite, clean and cosy family operated hotel has probably the best price/quality rate of the whole island. Owners are always at hand to offer all possible services - laundry, tourist tips on where to go and what to see, etc and make you feel sincerely welcome. They also speak excellent German, Englist, Finnish and Russian which makes communication easy and enjoyable.
The hotel is located at a short walks' distance from the centre of Kuressaare, this guarantees the guest a good sleep even during the summer festivities and concerts. A new tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts is just in front of the hotel, so tennis fans should be particularly happy there. In short, I had a great stay there and recommend it to everyone - couples, families, elderly or business travellers.

Simple, clean hotel with very kind staff. Mr.Jaan Paern was always there, ready and happy to help and answer all our questions. Due to the rain we could not bike to the crater Kali as we planned, but he has organized a car for us for a very reasonable price. Breakfast is included in the price of accommodation. Considering the price, it is a good breakfast with varieties of food and drinks. It is certainly value for money. Great location, surrounded by greenery, just few minutes walk to the castle or to the beach.
