If the price and location is too good to be true, it probably is. I wish I read a more detailed and honest review prior to reserving a room at The One. I thought it was a bargain: great views, beautiful pool, and modern/minimalist room. We were in for a shock. When we checked in the hotel concierge handed us...

Just returned from this hotel - first thing to advise is the address on tripadvisor is wrong! It's at Cap Martinet, Talamanca. Luckily our cab driver was familiar with the island! It's a very basic 2 to 3 star hotel, which has been recently renovated, so the rooms are acceptable, but certainly nothing special. Rooms are small (~10 sqm) and...

After reading some of the reviews on this site i felt compelled to write one myself. We had booked the hotel for the first week of our honeymoon - but were slightly concerned when we read all the reviews commenting on the unfriendly staff and that they were not interested in you if you were not italian or german. never...

Went with my wife and some friends after thinking how good it looked on the website - they must have found a fantastic photographer!!!! They've tried to do chic design on the cheap and it doesn't work. Service was poor (I get the idea because we spoke English, and tried Spanish but didn't speak Italian) and the rooms small. The...

a group of me and my friends stayed at the one while attending a friends wedding. the staff were rude and incompetent and one waiter, who couldnt be bothered to serve me a sandwich at 3pm even though his colleagues had served me every day before hand, told me to go [--] myself in Italian. Luckily I understood this remark...

Where to start......check in was tricky as the girl kept speaking to us in german and we are english, however we finally got there. Our first room (of three) was pokey, had a musty smell which we quickly realised was because the patio door was fixed shut and broken so unable to be open (in 32 degree heat), so we...

Upon arriving at the one hotel, the lobby and surrounding area is very promising. Unfortunately, from here on everything goes downhill. The management are very rude (receptionist better, but shouldn't the management be leading by example), and check-in was an ordeal. Service and politeness is certainly not their strength. I should point out that the bar staff were polite, and...

Our room was on the first floor with the balcony over the pool. Every morning we woke up because of an annoying tune they played to greet the Going customers. The room was a simple double but had a third bed (but was definitely small for three people). The restaurant had a lot of choices every night. The staff spoke...
