Excellent hotel, friendly , clean and good price. Comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. Near to the shops and beach. Air conditioning in the rooms is great and easy to use. We really enjoyed our stay at Captains house hotel and can't think of anything bad to say about it.

We were greeted by Anna who helped with our cases with a cheerful smile and friendly chatter. The room we had was on the 2nd floor and was a little on the small side with a shortage of space to put the trappings of modern travel and a cramped balcony. Things could be improved by having furniture with more draws....

We visited the cocktale bar for a night cap the place is very small and you might struggle to get in but you can cross the road to the hotel and there is a very nice area with sofas and chairs where you relax with your drink

The Captains House Hotel is a brilliant small hotel 50 metres from the beach, so no pool necessary. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, bed linen and towels changed every other day. The staff are fantastic. Tina, Andreas, Theo and George, along with their fabulous staff are wonderful, very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them! I cannot...

We popped in to have a drink after dinner. The waitress was fabulous and the drinks great. It was just that they were so busy that it took forever to get served with the bottles of water taking the longest. Certainly worth a visit and the lounge bar very comfortable

It's a nice little place in the heart of Skala, with a fun (although a tad over the top) little bar directly opposite. Seriously cheesy and cringe worthy music. Stayed last year for a couple of nights and it was fine. Service good, breakfast adequate and the room was fine, although the showers are a joke, tiny does not begin...

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very clean, everyday they clean the rooms. Breakfast is average (eggs, cereals, yoghurt, milk etc). 2min from the beach. The owner is friend with the guys who rent stuff for watersports,so they offer you a discount if you tel them where you stay. Overall is a really good choice
