I work too many hours and Monday is my day off. I love yo bring my dogs to boca. It is a small beach. My dogs are safe and free to run. I try a new resto weekly and each one gas been good. There are only a handful of them. More water taxis than restos. Love the place

I read all the glowing reviews and couldn't wait to experience the Casa, but my experience and my fellow travelers experience fell far short of the previously posted reviews. There are only two guest bedrooms in the Casa. If you aren't lucky to get one of those you have to walk a dirt, rocky path that is strewn with trash,... More

Bob and Monica create a warm and welcoming space to learn, connect and relax. They provide everything you need to nourish and grow. I highly recommend a trip to La Casa to experience the beauty of La Boca!

I recently spent a week as Casa de Los Artistas for a week of watercolor classes with Tom Lynch....I knew that the instruction would be great as i had taken a workshop with Tom in Spring 2014. But what I got in Boca was so much more.....Bob Masla has created a unique place for artists to retreat and learn with... More

Casa de Los Artistas utterly transcended any expectations. We felt immersed in the environment and at the same time totally taken care of. The food was amazing and the area lovely. Best vacation ever.

It was my big birthday - marking the end of a decade and the start of another. I wanted something really special, and my stay at La Casa de Los Artistas made it so. I attended a watercolor workshop with Sterling Edwards in February 2013. Everything was wonderful: first class tuition, wonderful organic food, first rate accommodation at the nearby... More

I spent 6 days at the casa with Monica and Bob. It felt like visiting old friends. They are lovely, hospitable, genuine people who go all the way to get to know people and accommodate their wishes. They love cooking and make excellent brunches using fine, local, organic ingredients. It was my first visit to Mexico and i think i... More

I had the good fortune to spend a week with Bob Masla, owner and Sterling Edwards, watercolor professional workshop at the Casa de los Artistsa. The views, the people of Baca, the food, rooms and staff were a 10 out of 10 in my evaluation after a week. I will return to share in the joy of the area and... More

Went to the Casa for the Salsa Immersion week. When we arrived at the Puerta Vallarta airport we were greeted by Bob and several other workshop participants and the experience began there. Bob and Monica were great hosts and welcomed us to their piece of paradise! Rudy, the Casa cook, prepared fabulous breakfasts and lunches for us all week. I... More

Outstanding experience - attended an all-inclusive workshop (they offer art, living, and dance workshops). Our hosts, Bob and Monica, and their three older children, were the perfect hosts. We arrived as strangers and left as cherished members of their family. All breakfasts and lunches were expertly created by Ruby on site and were 100% authentic area specialties. You won't believe...
