Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

Hotel Lovere Resort & Spa offers a mixed bag of experiences, according to recent feedback. While the hotel boasts a prime location close to the lake and attractions, some guests have noted noise due to its proximity to a main road. The service is often described as friendly and courteous, though not without occasional delays. Cleanliness generally receives high marks, especially in the spa area, yet travelers' views on rooms range from spacious and tidy to cramped and noisy. The amenities, including pet-friendly options, have their ups and downs, with some visitors feeling let down by the spa and breakfast offerings. The overall atmosphere is said to need an update to match its advertised star rating, leaving some guests questioning the hotel's value for money.

Together with my wife and my son we stayed in this property for one night.
The structure is very simple to reach with an external and covered car park made available to us by the reception.
Crossing the road you arrive directly on the shore of the lake.
The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and smiling.
For the following morning we booked the Spa, entry is two hours.
The spa is also very clean and very quiet, probably also because there is less turnout in the morning.
Even my 10 year old son had the opportunity to access it (other facilities, including spas, do not allow access to children).
Very good and plentiful breakfast, special praise for the croissants, the best I have ever found in a breakfast buffet.
If I can give one piece of advice, take greater care, even just visually, of the back of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Lake Iseo.
We took advantage of a free smartbox to stay in the structure: we then chose a room with lake view to enjoy the super view that the structure offers.
We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel Pinocchio and we ate very well.
The structure is super pet-friendly: we found in the room two bowls and a doghouse with a pillow for our dog.
Thanks to all the staff!

Just back from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Although not an up to date, modern hotel it is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and work hard to keep everyone happy. The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the lake and a short walk to restaurants and bars in Lovere. Our room didn't face the road so we didn't experience the noise that other reviewers have spoken about. We had the half board option (which for dinner was 5 courses in total so we were never going to starve) and although the choice wasn't as great as the main restaurant menu there was something that suited us every time. We bought wine to go with our evening meal and it was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was a selection of cold ham/cheese, pastries, breads, cereals, yoghurts and a couple of hot items such as scrambled eggs and bacon, The hotel offers use of it's bicycles for free and also kayaks if you want to explore the lake. We didn't use the spa as the weather was fantastic so we went exploring. I would recommend the hotel to fellow travellers and if ever in Lovere again i wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Sorry, but the hotell is not a 4 star!!
The hotell is in need of a maintance and a big «freshing up».

The location is next to the main road, so you can not have the door open, because of heavy noise. The bathroom had no shampo, condition, lotion only one soap for all. The minibar had two bottles with water and one bottle with sparkling wine. Air condition did not work.
The breakfast was poor, compared to what is at a 4 star hotell.

Can not recommend this.

The staff serving breakfast was the only possitive thing

For a 4-star albertgo the standard solution "back view without balcony" paid 195 euros per night can not be a room with frosted windows overlooking the wall one meter away and at human height and street above illuminated by day even at night with street lamps; it can not have a hard double mattress - without the now famous topper - and obtained by joining two single mattresses; it can not have the background noise, even at night, of a boiler in the forensic courtyard necessary to heat the structure. Well the location on the shore of Lake Iseo, cleaning, bathrobe and slippers for the sauna (to be paid separately and not mandatory) and breakfast. Poor response to reception when it was noted the quality of the room: "She designed it, standard back view without balcony." Hence the question: can a 4-star have this levelso step for a standard accommodation. Anyway, it was room 212. Avoid it if you can.

A very disappointing stay. Our room was like a prison cell; by far the worst room in all our travels - small window, one cupboard - no drawers just 2 shelves, sub standard toiletries, at the end of a maze of corridors above the spa.

Tea and coffee is a joke - kettle doesn’t even plug in anywhere except on the floor - paper cups and no milk. Kettle is a health and safety hazard as doesn’t turn off, just overheats! Hairdryer ancient - it won’t dry your hair. AC noisy. A shower you can’t turn around in. A broken toilet seat. A sink where the tap prefers to spray the water outside the sink… a heavy sliding door… I could go on…

If you are offered room 210 …run….

We could not change room as the hotel was ‘full’ the next evening - and reception were not willing to move us and to put a new booking in our so called ‘standard room’ - basically because this room should be closed off! The room is very noisy as it faces a multiple AC Unit from another building which is on 24hrs.

There isn’t really a bar that you can sit at; you can sit on hard, wooden seats on the terrace. Inside dining area very bland.

You pay extra to use the spa which looks nothing like the pictures and there are certainly some weird smells around that area.

Busy road in front of the hotel, watch out if you’ve booked a lake view that you don’t receive a ‘wall’ view. Definitely not a 4* hotel… bordering on a 2*

The hotel is about 12-15mins walk to the centre of Lovere, which is ok but not worth going out of your way for; there are far prettier lake towns I believe - so do some research before coming this way...

Dear Guest, I’d like to inform you that what you said doesn’t match reality, except for the paper glasses, wrapped individually, but what do you know about hygiene standards and HACCP. Only because you wanted a lake view room without paying extra (like other guests). We also received your complaint (with a refund request, which was denied). The way you described both us and the agency says a lot about you. Angelo Rosso General Manager

An advantage is the check-in time, very early, at 1 p.m. The hotel initially did not present itself very well: to get to the room we had to go through a vaguely horror tunnel, a fire door and then the elevator. This way we arrived at our floor, and from there everything very nice. The room is spacious, the bathroom a bit small, but the steam room in the room is undoubtedly a magnificent addition.

Overall, however, there was a bit of carelessness in the details: the ceiling of the Turkish bath was peeling, around the windows the wall had a different color, the sink was peeling, when they brought us breakfast in the room we did not know where to sit because there were no chairs. An incomprehensible detail for me was the kettle in the room: there were herbal teas and sugar and, of course, the kettle. Too bad, however, that the schuko plug of the kettle did not fit in the wall sockets, so I could not make a chamomile.

In the evening we also had the spa treatment, and I think it is very nice. Perhaps the number of “activities” boasted on the site are not true, because the pool and the various whirlpools are all together, and in the end the activities are three: whirlpool pool, Turkish bath and sauna (sensory showers are normal showers with light and strange jets of cold water). In my opinion it is not worth the 27€ on Saturday afternoon, but maybe for 15€ a week it can fit (especially if you do not have a Turkish bath in the room).

The curtains, unfortunately, did not close well in our room, and we woke up to the sun. For me it was not a big problem, but for someone with light sleep it can be annoying.

Agency Reservation: one room for 5 people (2 adults and 3 children), bed and breakfast. We wait a day to confirm the room, to agree with friends staying elsewhere: the price goes from 205 to 230 (excluding tourist tax) with the justification that it is the last room left.
In the past I attended other four-star hotels for work, so expectations were high; at check-in the disappointment: a building of at least 30 years inserted in a shopping complex where the hotel is not distinguished from the rest, renovated room, but bathroom furniture with missing pieces, mold in the shower, rot on the door pavilions. Poor room cleaning: hair between the sheets, dust on the furniture, ant trap in the corner and ants roaming the room. Of the four beds present, two are on a sofa bed, the set of bed linen (towels) provided is for three people.

My wife and I went with a couple of friends this weekend. As soon as we arrived the welcome was mediocre, when we got to the room the music changed. Large room furnished with new furniture with terrace overlooking Lake Iseo. The only flaw was the bathroom which was very small compared to the size of the room and was also old as the door frame was chipped and the toilet button was also broken and there was a lot of dust near the sink. In the evening we went to the hotel restaurant, I recommend it as it has a wide choice of dishes and moderate prices and a 10% discount as a hotel customer. In the morning we go for breakfast and unfortunately we are disappointed by the croissants that seemed dry and from the next day and then they were fake and we had to wait 29 minutes before the cheap mini croissants arrived. The faces of the other hotel guests said it all. BREAKFAST FAILED. The spa was very nice

Having visited the 3 largest lakes, we visited Lake Iseo and quickly realised why it’s less popular. Hotel, like most post-Covid needs a bit of tlc: dripping taps & cisterns, broken kettles etc. However the shortcomings are compensated by the wonderful staff who try to meet every request promptly. Special mention for Claudia & Viviana who gave us Claudia’s parking space in the underground carpark to avoid our hire car being damaged by a hailstorm.
Hotel has a spa & gym and a small indoor pool but surprisingly no outside leisure areas; a garden or even a bar would improve it. Rooms are not large but are comfortable although the aircon is a bit noisy. Lakeview rooms also overlook a busy road but the traffic noise wasn’t a problem.
In brief, the staff make the best of a somewhat tired infrastructure in a resort which hasn’t embraced tourism to the same degree as the larger lakes.
