We absolutely loved this little oasis away from but close to the hustle and bustle of the tourist route. Very clean room with lovely garden and the best breakfast we've had in a long time, all baked by the host who is a professional baker. Three types of homemade cake (including the best banana cake we've ever had) and four types of homemade bread, plus homemade jams. A lovely place to stay on Lago Maggiore with excellent host, Roberto. We would definitely visit again and stay longer.
A wonderful week at Roberto's fantastic B&B, where the stay more than lived up to previous reviews. The smell of fresh bread and cakes wafting into the bedroom each morning was a joy, and the breakfasts were always great. Roberto is attentive, helpful and eager to assist in any respect. The garden is a great place to relax and the lake is just seconds away. Larger towns are just a short drive and plenty of choices of places to eat. This B&B is great value for money and I strongly recommend it as a base for exploring this beautiful area. Thanks Roberto. James
This is the best place we have ever stayed in. The house has been renovated to an extremely tasteful, high standard. Immaculate throughout. Peaceful, with beautiful views overlooking the lake. Roberto, is an excellent host, and the breakfast offers a tasty variety - all freshly prepared/baked by him.
We found this lovely B&B last minute by chance and can highly recommend it . The host Roberto was very Friendly and helpful . Spoke Engish and German well. The rooms are spotless. Lovely view of Lake Maggiore. Fresh baked goods for breakfast. Travellers from Canada
Roberto's done everything right at B&B Villa Arancio. From the reservation process and welcome beer to the recent renovations and decorative touches, this place is absolutely perfect. We had the second-floor room with the balcony, so we were treated to excellent views all weekend. This room's bathroom is located two steps across the hall, but it wasn't a bother at all. The furnishings - both in the room and bathroom - were better than what I've had at three-star hotels. Everything is immaculate, in perfect working order, and clean. There's also a wonderful little yard area set up for picnics and al fresco dining, so if the weather is good... Roberto and his wife are wonderful hosts. He's also a German-trained baker, so do not miss his homemade breads and sweets at breakfast. We also ran into some traffic jams which delayed our arrival, but Roberto was very laid-back and accommodating. Ghiffa might be small for some folks, but for me, it's the perfect weekend getaway if you're near the lake. There are plenty of local restaurants as well as hiking trails nearby. Would recommend B&B Villa Arancio in a heartbeat.…
