Staying here was excellent. As soon as I entered the property, I was stunned at how beautiful it was and knew right away we would have a very easy and relaxing stay. At the same time, hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They want to get to know you and hear about your experiences. They also share many stories of... More

Everything, from the charming scenery to the comfortable accommodations, the delightful breakfast and the warm hospitality was as one could only hope for! Our week-end was a delightful avant-goût for this spectacular wine region, a hop, skip and a jump away from tasty restaurants, beautiful castles and the breathtaking Cluny Abbey...we will surely return and wholeheartedly recommend staying at Les... A good stopover on the way south from Calais to Provence. A pleasant modern house surrounded by vineyards, with the well-designed guest rooms to one side. Les Potins du Four means something like 'the chatter round the kitchen stove' and the image catches well the warm and lively atmosphere created here. The welcome is genuine. We had a really good... This was our third visit to Les Potins and it has become a highlight of our trips to France. Sylvie and Jean-Philippe are fantastic hosts who make you feel genuinely welcome and Sylvie's home cooked meals are superb. The rooms with en suite facilities are lovely and spotlessly clean. The dinner/bed and breakfast is excellent value for money and includes... More

Sylvie & Jean Phi are consummate hosts. Wonderful people-- obviously enjoying their lifestyle as B&B owners and the service shows it! The B&B has been handcrafted by Jean Phi (as an amateur builder myself, I was impressed!). Breakfast was lovely, but if you have the chance to dine with them in the evening, do it! You will not be disappointed.... More

We always take advantage of the offer of dinner. It never fails to please. Jean Phi encourages and helps me with my french -... More

It was our first B&B experience in France and I must say it was an incredible experience. The hosts, Sylvie and Jean Phillipe, are amazing and welcoming couple. It was more like visiting old friends. As soon as we arrived Sylvie offered us tea, coffee, beer and we sat and had a chat for an hour before she showed us... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful couples (Sylvie and Jean-Phillipe Auger) bed and breakfast in the heart of the Beaujolais area south of France! The accommodation, home cooked meals and most of all hospitality was five star! We appreciate the advice given by Jean Phillipe on all the "tourist" things to see and do in the area! We... More

Sylvie and Jean-Philippe are a lovely welcoming couple - who believe that good food and wine are the mainstay of a good life! The pool looked nice, but we ran out of time to use it after our long drive. We were luckily in time for dinner, which turned out to be just us and the hosts (the other guests... More
