We stayed in the cottage just behind selby house on a self catering basis, for the second year in a row and already booked for the third. The cottage has been done out in wood through out from floors to doors and all the furniture and gives the feel of a old fashioned cottage it will sleep six with two...

We had an all-too-short stay in the family room at Selby House. From the second we arrived with Pete waiting to direct us into the car park we were made to feel very welcome and very much at home. The family "room" was actually a suite of rooms including bedroom, sitting room/bedroom and shower room. It was spotlessly clean and...

Great stopover B&B not far from M5 and short 20 minute drive into Taunton. Quiet rural location. Lots of extras including welcome cup of tea and to die for lemon drizzle. Owners are welcoming and looked after us well. Breakfast includes freshly made fruit salad, locally produced apple juice and traditional fry-up with local produce including eggs from Selby House...

We received such a warm welcome along with homemade cake and tea, Selby House was spotless and so comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. As a couple travelling with our grown up daughter Ellen had just the...

If anyone is looking for an excellent B & B, look no further, because Selby House is the one you need to book.......except the days we want! I...

Stayed in the family room for a couple of nights (early April 2015). The B and B itself is a charming old house, spotlessly clean, in a quiet location. The reception we received from the owners was welcoming and friendly, plus a 1st class breakfast. Great central location for Somerset and Devon (just a few miles from Wellington / Taunton)....

The hosts here, Ellen and Pete, are just fantastic. A perfect balance of availability and being left alone. We've stayed in the B&B (2010) and more recently in the self catering cottage; both get a 5 star review. Wonderful rural location with Wellington only a five minute drive away. We stayed in the cottage over Easter weekend with our children...
